지속가능한 발전목표(UN-SDGs)와 제3세대 CPTED

UN Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs) and the Third Generation CPTED

미래의 사회가 추구해야하는 중요한 가치로 평가받는 개념 중의 하나는 지속가능한 발전개념이다. 과거에는 “안전한 사회”를 위해 도시와 지역사회가어떻게 바뀌어야하는지 논의했다면 미래의 안전한 사회는 “지속가능”의 개념과의 조우를 강조한다. 본 연구는 UN이 제시한 지속가능한 발전 목표를 검토하고 이에 안전한 삶의 전략으로서 CPTED가 기여할 수 있는 영역들을 검토하는 것을 주요 목적으로 하였다. UN은 17개의 분야에 대하여 세부 목표(SDGs)를 제시하였는데, 그 분야 중 건축, 에너지, 안전, 여성에 대한 세부 목표는 CPTED의 주요 전략과 맞닿아 있다. 본 연구는 불평등, 기후 변화 등 국제사회가 공동 해결하고자 하는 국제적세부목표와 상생하는 CPTED 전략을 제시한다. 마지막으로 디지털 매체를 이용한 그린 정책의 지속가능한 CPTED 전략을 제3세대 CPTED로 칭하고, 지속가능성과 상생하는 미래의 CPTED 방향성을 제시한다.

The world has been discussing a safe future life, the concept of sustainable development is a key topic. Whereas in the past we discussed how cities and communities should change for a “safe society”, the safe society of the future emphasizes the encounter with the concept of “sustainability”. The main purpose of this study is to discuss the possibility of linking CPTED and the UN s Sustainable Development Goals to discuss sustainable safety. The UN has presented detailed goals (SDGs) in 17 fields, which have considerable overlap with the main areas covered by CPTED, such as architecture, energy, safety, and women and children. This study clearly outlines the limitations of the current CPTED strategy and suggests a safety policy that coexists with the world agenda that the international community wants to solve jointly, such as inequality and climate change. Finally, we suggest to call the sustainable CPTED strategy as the third-generation CPTED, and show a final a discussion a linkage of ‘SDGs and the third CPTED’.
