A Study on Designation of Marine Space for Comprehensive Marine Management in Korea: Focusing on the Setting of Marine Space Management Zone in Chungnam Region

Countries around the world are trying to make laws for efficient management of sea resources and manage their own seas as safe and sustainable resources through control towers. This study aims to systematically manage our marine territories through the efficient management of increasing marine resources, and to promote discourse on how to establish comprehensive management plans (MSPs) for the sea by forming governance by governments, local governments, fishermen, experts, and stakeholders. In addition, local governments and stakeholders are coordinating opinions on the government s comprehensive marine management plan, and through this, they are seeking safer and more diverse ways to utilize marine resources in the future.
