《三國史記·遺事》記事에 의한 新羅王京 復元과 古韓尺

Restoration of Silla capital and Kohan Scale (An Old Korean Scale) Considering articles in Samguksagi and Samgukyusa

新羅王京의 條坊 복원에 대해서는 이미 많은 안이 제시되어 있다. 그러나 이들 복원만은 모두 古籍圖의 관찰이나 고고학적인 지견, 또는 문헌적인 지견을 단편적으로 고찰했을 뿐, 계량사격인 관점을 포함하는 종합적인 고찰은 이루어지지 않고 있다. 예컨대 《三國史記》에 長三千七十五步 廣三千一十八步 三十五里 六部라고 있는 것이 왜 長三千七十五 步 廣三千一十八步인지, 步의 실제 길이는 어느 정도인지, 또 三十五里·六部와의 관계는 어떠한지 둥 문제에 대해서는 어느 복원안에서도 밝혀진 바가 없다. 그것은 《三國遺事》에 기록된 一千三百六十坊(三百六十方)五十五里 에 대한 해석도 마찬가지이다. 王京을 복원해도 그 크기를 《三國史記》에 표시된 長三千七十五步 廣三千一十八步 와 대비해서 검토한 예도 없다. 본고에서는 종전의 복원안과는 시각을 달리하며 《三國史記》나 《三國遺事》에 기록된 기재사항을 보 다 충실하게 해석함으로써 條坊 복원을 시도하였다. 그 결과 《三國史記》와 《三國遺事》에 대한 해석만으로 方 100步를 1坊, 9坊(方300步)을 1里, 100里(方 10里)를 王京으로 하는 복원도를 얻을 수 있었다. 이 복원도는 坊 부분에만 주목하면 尹武炳 복원안이나 東潮·田中侯明의 복원안과 일치되고 있어 종전의 연구성과를 포괄하는 복원도가 되어 있다. 한편, 古籍圖의 관찰이나 최근의 고고학적 접근에 의하면 條坊 구획의 크기가 약 160㎝이다 따라서 《三國史記》<원문누락>

Many restoration models on the grid planning of the old Silla capital have been reported already. However all of these restorations still remain in fragmentary consideration for observation of old maps, archaeological information or old documents and are lacking in general consideration including metrological view - points. For example, though Samguk - Sagi says the length is 3075 bo, the width is 3018 bo and 35 ri and 6 bu in it, it has not been clear yet that why the detailed expressions such as 3075 bo, 3018 bo is used, or how long the actual bo length is, or where 35 ri or 6 bu are located in. The situation for the Samguk - isa s mention 1360(360) bang 55 ri is not quite different. Though many researchers restored the grid planning, nobody has paid attention to comparison between the restored size of the city and the Samguk - sagi s item 3075 bo, 3018 bo. This author, from a different point of view, tried to restore the grid planning by analyzing the Samguk-sagi and Samguk-isa articles faithfully. As a result, only from analyzing these texts, we could get the restored grid planning that 1 bang is square 100 bo, 9 bang (square 300 bo) is 1 ri and 100 ri (square 10 ri) is the total capital area. In this restoration model, the bang part (the residence area) agrees well with the Yun Mubyong s restoration model or the Azuma Ushio and Tanaka Toshiaki s restoration model, that is. the new model covers some of the conventional restoration models. Incidentally one block length of the actual grit in the old Silla capital is now given as 160m by recent archaeological researches. Therefore 1 bo shown in Samguk - sagi is calculated to be 1.60m and 1 foot is to be 26.7㎝. This length agrees very well with Kohan scale(old Korean scale) which was introduced inductively by computer analysis for many ruins.
