An Instance of the Innovated Patterns on Paekche s Tile

본고에서는 扶除 外里遺蹟 출토 두 가지 鬼形文塼 사이의 관계를 검토함으로써 蓮華座型과 岩座型이 同범關係에 있고 연화좌형부터 암좌형으로 개변되었음을 소개하였다. 외리유적에서 출토된 수막새의 와당문양으로 미루어 문양전의 연대는 7세기 전반보다 올라가지는 않을 것으로 볼 수 있다. 다만 8가지의 전이 두 계통의 문양으로 분류할 수 있다는 점, 두 가지 귀형문의 鮮明度에 일정한 차이가 있다는 점 등을 감안하면 문양전의 제작연대에 어느 정도 시간폭이 있음을 고려할 필요가 있다.

In this paper, it is introduced that relation of the innovated pattern between the lotus seat design and the rock seat design, on the investigation of two kind of tiles of monster-mask design, excavated at Oe-ri site, Puyeo. The chronology of the tile of monster-mask is supposed to be later than early 7th century, referring to the design of roof tiles excavated at Oe-ri. However, it is necessary to be considered that there is little range on production time, because there are different series in 8 kinds of design of tiles, and there is a difference of clearness between two kinds of tile designed monster-mask.
