한성기 출토 암키와는 石村洞古墳, 夢村土城, 風納里土城 출토품이 대부분이지만, 그 중에 풍납리토성 출토 기와가 가장 많은 양과 종류를 차지하며, 현시점에서는 ??文, 平行文, 格子文, 無文의 4계통 및 A, B 전후기의 8가지로 분류할 수 있다. 이들의 시기적 변천문제에 대해서는 凹면에 시문되고 있는 粘土紐桶卷技法 및 粘土輸積技法인 2개의 기법과 측면 조성법의 相違点이 그 문제의 열쇠를 쥐고 있다고 판단된다. 아직 자료검토를 시작한지는 얼마 되지 않았지만, 선학자들의 가르침을 통해 시론으로 제시하겠다.
