유아교사가 지각하는 교사연구자 인식과 실천에 관한 합의적 질적 연구

전공심화 재학생을 중심으로

유아교사는 교사 전문성 함양을 위해 교사연구자 역할을 인식하고 실천할 필요가 있다. 이를 위해 전문대 유아교육과 전공심화 과정에서 교사 연구과목이 주요하게 다루어지지만, 전공심화 재학생의 교사연구자 실천에 관한 연구가 부족하여 이들의 성장을 지원할 실질적 근거가 부족한 실정이었다. 이에, 전공심화 재학생이 지각하는 교사연구자에 대한 인식과 실천에 대해 포괄적으로 탐색하고자 서울 지역 H 대학교 유아교육과 전공심화 과정에 재학하고 있는 학생 중 현직 유아교사인 9명을 대상으로 인터뷰하여 합의적 질적 연구(CQR) 방법으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 전공심화 입학 동기(개인적 필요, 직업적 필요), 교사연구자에 대한 개념과 역할(교육전문가, 현장문제 해결자, 변화에 능동적인 교수자), 교사연구자로 여겨지는 경험(자발적 참여, 의무활동), 교사연구자 실천 어려움(연구자 역할에 대한 부담, 교사업무 과중), 교사연구자 실천을 위한 요건(유아교사의 의지, 교육적 지원, 재정적 지원, 제도적 지원)의 5개 영역과 13개 범주, 32개의 하위범주가 도출되었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 시사점을 논하였다.

Early childhood teachers need to recognize and practice the role of teacher researchers to cultivate teacher expertise. Hence, teacher research subjects are mainly dealt with in the early childhood education in the advanced courses for bachelor’s degree. However, so far, there has been a lack of practical evidence to support their growth due to the lack of research on the practice of teacher researchers by theses students. Accordingly, the recognition and practice of teacher researchers recognized by students in the advanced course for bachelor’s degree were comprehensively explored. As a result, there were founded 5 domain, 13 categorizes and 32 sub-categorizes: entrance motivation of deepening majoring course(individual needs, professional needs), the concept and role of teacher-researchers(educational experts, field problem solvers, active teacher in changes, no experiences in teacher-researcher), the experiences considered as a teacher- researcher(voluntary participation, mandatory activities), difficulties in practicing teacher- researchers(burden on the role of a researcher, added heavier workload), requirements for the practice of teacher researcher(the will of early childhood education teacher, educational support, financial support, institutional support). Based on these results, implications were discussed.
