배연을 위한 공동주택 세대 내 화장실 배기구 활용 가능성에 관한 연구

A Study on the Availability of the Toilet Exhaust Port in Apartment Households for Smoke Exhaust

공동주택에서 외기와 직접적으로 접한 화장실을 활용한 배연 가능성을 통하여 세대 내의 질식사를 줄이기 위한시스템을 제안하였다. 기존의 세대 내에 부착된 F.D의 개폐 방식은 화염 및 연기확산을 방지하기 위하여 화재실에서는 “CLOSED” 형태를 취하나, 제안된 시스템의 화재실에서는 “OPEN” 하고, 화재실을 제외한 각 층 세대들의 F.D를“CLOSED” 시키는 시스템이다. 제안된 시스템의 법적 검토 결과 F.D의 성능이 기준에 적합하면 법적으로 타당하다고 할 수 있고, 자연배기인 경우, 수직덕트 내의 유속이 법규에서 규정하고 있는 유속 이하로 나타남에 따라 제안된시스템의 적용은 가능하나, 배기량에 대한 고려는 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

This paper suggests a system to reduce suffocation casualties in apartment households by smoke exhaust using the toiletexhaust port adjacent to the outdoor. The opening/closing method of the fire damper attached to the existing systems takesthe form “CLOSED” to prevent flame and smoke diffusion, but the method used in the proposed system is contradictoryto this method. The results of the legal review of the smoke exhaust system depends on the conformance of the damperperformance to legal requirements. Hence, the proposed system can be applied if the damper performance conforms to thelegal requirements and the air velocity in the pipe shaft is within the legal velocity limit. However, the exhaust rate ofthe natural exhaust system must be considered.
