중학교 교육과정 안전교육 편성 현황과 개선 방안 탐색

A Study on the School Safety Education in Middle School: Centered on the 7 Standards of School Safety Education

이 연구는 중학교 안전교육의 편성 현황을 분석하여, 중학교 안전교육의개선 방안을 탐색하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 학교안전교육7대 표준안에 근거하여 안전교육 내용이 포함된 교과목을 중심으로 내용 분석을 실시하였다. 연구의 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학교 안전교육 7대 표준안의대영역인 ‘교통안전’과 ‘직업안전’의 영역 중 상당한 부분이 누락되어 있었다. 둘째, 각 교과의 특성과 관련 깊은 안전교육의 내용이 해당 교과에서 중점적으로 드러나지않았다. 셋째, 학교안전교육 7대 표준안의 각 영역별로 안전 관련 지식을 전달하는것에 초점이 있었다. 넷째, 중학생들의 안전과 관련하여 취약한 부분에 대한 실태나구체적인 내용 등이 중점적으로 다루어지지 않았다. 마지막으로 다양한 교과에서 다루고 있는 안전교육의 내용은 예방, 대처방안, 안전 수칙 등의 방법적 지식에 편중되어있었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 안전교육의 방향과 향후 과제 등을 논의하였다

The purpose of this study is to analyze the current status of middle school safety education and to explore ways to improve middle school safety education. To this end, content analysis was conducted focusing on subjects that included safety education contents based on the 7 standards of school safety education. The findings of the study are as follows: First, a significant portion of the areas of ‘traffic safety’ and ‘occupational safety’, which are the major areas of the 7 standards for school safety education, were omitted. Second, the content of safety education that is deeply related to the characteristics of each subject was not revealed as a focus in the subject. Third, there was a focus on delivering safety-related knowledge in each area of the 7 standards for school safety education. Fourth, in relation to the safety of middle school students, the actual situation and specific contents of the weak areas were not focused on. Lastly, the content of safety education covered in various subjects was concentrated on methodological knowledge such as understanding prevention, countermeasures, and safety rules. Based on the findings, the direction of safety education and future tasks were discussed.
