간접외상노출이 대리외상화에 미치는 영향에서 소진과 직무만족의 역할: 매개된 조절효과 분석

The Roles of Burnout and Job Satisfaction in the Effects of Indirect Trauma Exposure on Vicarious Traumatization: An Analysis of Mediated Moderating Effects: With a focus on female police officers on the investigation team of crimes against women and juveniles

본 연구는 여성청소년수사팀 여성 경찰관들의 업무 특성상 불가피한 간접외상노출과 대리외상화의 관련성을 살펴보고, 이들 간의 관계에서 소진을 통한 직무만족의 매개된 조절효과가 나타나는지 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 전국의 일선 경찰서 여성청소년수사팀에 근무하는 여성 경찰관 189명을 대상으로 간접외상노출, 대리외상화, 소진 및 직무만족을 측정하였고 상관 및 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 간접외상노출, 대리외상화, 소진 사이에 유의한 정적 상관관계가 있었고, 직무만족은 대리외상화 및 소진과 유의한 부적 상관관계를 보였다. 둘째, 간접외상노출과 대리외상화의 관계에서 직무만족의 조절효과를 확인할 수 있었다. 셋째, 간접외상노출과 대리외상화의 관계를 소진이 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 간접외상노출이 대리외상화에 영향을 미치는 경로에서 소진이 이를 매개할 때, 매개의 효과를 직무만족이 조절하는 것으로 나타나 매개된 조절효과가 검증되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 연구의 시사점과 한계점 및 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.

This study examines the connections between the inevitable indirect trauma exposure and vicarious traumatization of female police officers in their work characteristics on the investigation team of crimes against women and juveniles, and it investigates the mediated moderating effects of job satisfaction through burnout on these relationships. For this purpose, the researcher analyzed 189 female police officers on the investigation team of crimes against women and juveniles at local police stations around the nation in terms of indirect trauma exposure, vicarious traumatization, burnout, and job satisfaction and conducted correlation and regression analysis. The findings are as follows: first, there were significant positive correlations among indirect trauma exposure, vicarious traumatization, and burnout. Job satisfaction, on the other hand, had significant negative correlations with vicarious traumatization and burnout; second, job satisfaction had moderating effects on the relationship between indirect trauma exposure and vicarious traumatization; third, burnout had mediating effects on the relationship between indirect trauma exposure and vicarious traumatization; finally, job satisfaction moderated the mediating effects of burnout on the path of indirect trauma exposure affecting vicarious traumatization, which demonstrated mediated moderating effects. Based on these findings, the study discusses its implications, limitations, and suggestions for a follow-up study.
