공동체의식, 인정보상과 자원봉사활동 지속성에 관한 연구

A Study on the Relationship among the Sense of Community, Reward for Recognition, and Volunteer Activities: Comparing Cities and Counties in Gyeongsangnamdo

본 연구의 목적은 공동체의식, 인정보상과 자원봉사활동 지속성과의 관계가 지역에 따라 다른가를 검토하는 것이다. 본 연구가 활용한 분석자료는 경상남도 자원봉사센터가 경남지역 자원봉사자를 대상으로 2020년에 실시한 설문조사 자료이다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 경남지역의 경우 공동체의식과 사회심리적 인정보상 그리고 교육문화적 인정보상은 자원봉사활동 지속성에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 시 지역의 공동체의식과 사회심리적 인정보상 그리고 교육문화적 인정보상은 자원봉사활동 지속성에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 경제적 보상은 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 군지역에서는 자원봉사활동 지속에 대한 공동체의식의 영향력은 통계적으로 유의미하지만, 인정보상의 영향력은 통계적으로도 유의하지 않았다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 자원봉사활동 지속성에 대한 이론적, 실천적 제언을 하였다.

The purpose of this study is to examine whether the relationship among the sence of community, reward for recognition, and continuity of volunteer activities is different across the regions. The data used in this study is the Survey data on volunteers conducted in 2020 by the Gyeongsangnamdo Volunteer Center. The results of this study are as follows. First, the sense of community, socio-psychological reward for recognition, and educational/cultural reward for recognition have positive effects on the continuity of volunteer activities in the Gyeongnam. Second, in the city areas, the sense of community, the socio-psychological reward for recognition, and the educational/cultural reward for recognition have positive effects on the continuity of volunteer activities, but the economic reward has a negative effect. Third, in the county areas, the sense of community is positively associated with the continuity of volunteer activities, but the effects of the rewards for recognition on the continuity of volunteer activities are not statistically significant. Based on these results, theoretical and practical suggestions are made for the continuity of volunteer activities.
