특수학교 심리안정실 운영에 대한 특수학교 교감의 인식과 개선 방향

Awareness of special school vice-principals for improvement in the operation of special school psychological stability rooms

목적 본 연구에서는 특수학교 심리안정실 운영에 대한 특수학교 관리자들의 인식과 개선 방향에 대해 탐색하고자 하였다. 방법 이를 위하여 특수학교 관리자 6명을 대상으로 FGI(Focus Group Interview)를 실시하였다. 3명씩 두 집단으로 나누어 한 집단 당 130분~150분 정도 인터뷰를 진행하였고, FGI를 위해 반구조화 된 설문지를 작성하였다. FGI 내용은 전사하였으며, 연구자 협의를 통해 수정된 자료를 유목화하여 질적 분석을 실시하였다. 결과 본 연구의 결과, 특수학교의 심리안정실은 교육부 지원에 의해 주로 설치하였으며, 심리안정실 운영에 대해 긍정적이었다. 또한 심리안정실 운여에 대한 다양한 형태의 협의체를 조직하고 있었다. 특수학교 심리안정실의 개선 방향으로는 심리안정실에 대한 명확한 개념 정의가 필요하며, 심리안정실 활용에 대한 부모의 동의가 필요하다고 하였다. 또한 심리안정실 운영데 대한 법률적 근거가 필요하고, 심리안정실 지원 인력으로는 특수교사를 확충하는 방안을 요구하고 있었다. 결론 본 연구에서는 특수학교 심리안정실이 장애학생의 문제행동 중재와 인권보호 차원에서 매우 적절한 장소이며, 심리안정실 운영을 위해 학교현장에 맞는 개념 정의와 법적 근거가 마련되어야 한다. 또한 특수학교의 상황을 고려한 다양성을 존중해야 하며, 심리안정실 운여을 위한 특수교사의 확충이 선행되어야 함을 밝혔다.

Objectives The purpose of this study was to explore the perceptions and directions for improvement of special school administrators regarding the operation of the psychological stability room in special schools. Methods For this purpose, FGI (Focus Group Interview) was conducted with 6 managers of special schools. The interview was conducted for 130 to 150 minutes per group, divided into two groups of 3 people each, and the data obtained during the FGI process were nomadic and qualitative analysis was conducted. Results Result of this study, the psychological stability room in special schools was mainly installed with the support of the Ministry of Education, and the operation of the psychological stability room was positive. In addition, various types of consultation organizations were formed in the operation of the psychological stability room. In the direction of improvement of the psychological safety room in special schools, a clear definition of the concept of the psychological stability room is required, and parental consent is needed for the use of the psychological stability room. In addition, there was a need for a legal basis for the operation of the psychological safety room, and a plan to expand the number of special teachers as the support personnel for the psychological safety room was demanded. Conclusions In this study, the psychological stability room of a special school is a very appropriate place in terms of mediating problem behaviors of students with disabilities and protecting human rights, and for the operation of the psychological stability room, a definition of the concept and legal basis suitable for the school site should be prepared. In addition, it was revealed that diversity in consideration of the situation of special schools should be respected, and that the expansion of special education teachers should precede the operation of the psychological stability room.
