Statistical Analysis To Improve The Income Of Korean Pig Farm

본 연구는 국내 양돈 농가의 경쟁력을 강화하고자 상·하위 농가의 수준 격차를 줄일 수 있는 방안으로 하위 농가의 소득향상을 위한 방안 분석을 실시하였다. 소득향상을 위해서는 크게 농가의 생산성을 향상시키는 방안과 비육돈을 출하하여 도체등급을 잘 받아 도체의 정산가격을 높여 수익성을 증대시키는 방안 두 가지가 있다. 분석에는 9개 한국 양돈 농가의 총 141,429두의 도체 등급판정 데이터가 사용되었다. 농가의 생산성을 향상시키기 위해 본 연구는 PSY(pig per sow per year), MSY(marketted-pigs per sow per year), 1+등급 출현율, 모돈회전율 등을 높일 수 있는 요인들에 대하여 분석하였다. 농가의 생산성을 향상시키게 되면 결과적으로 생산비 절감까지 이끌어낼 수 있어 장기적으로 매우 좋은 방안이 될 수 있다. 또한 출하된 비육돈의 높은 도체등급을 위해 성별, 결함요인 등의 요인들과 도체등급과의 관계를 조사·분석하였고, 등급을 상승시킬 수 있는 모돈 요인에 대하여 분석하였다. 결과적으로 PSY에는 복당이유자돈두수와 모돈회전율이, MSY에는 이유전육성률과 복당이유자돈두수가 가장 많이 영향을 준다는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 최종등급과 성별 간의 통계적으로 유의한 차이(p<0.001)를 찾았으며, 결함요인 중 삼겹살상태와 지방부착 요인이 최종등급 하락에 가장 크게 작용하는 것을 확인하였다. 이러한 분석 결과가 효과적인 농장 관리와 농가의 장·단기적인 소득향상에 도움을 줄 것으로 기대한다.

This study conducts an analysis to improve the income of lower farms, to strengthen the competitiveness of Korean pig farms. The first way for high income is to improve the productivity of farms, and the other is to get good carcass grades of finishing pigs. As a way to improve the productivity of farms, we analyzed PSY, MSY, the appearance rate of 1+ grade, farrowing cycle per sow for year. We also analyzed the relationship with carcass grades and defective factors, and sow factors increasing the grade because the settlement price of the pig carcass grade can increase profitability. As a result, it is confirmed that the numbers of weaned piglet per sow and farrowing cycle per sow for year have the most influence on PSY, and the growing rate of suckling piglets and the numbers of weaned piglet per sow have the most influence on MSY. In addition, a statistically significant difference (p<0.001) between the final grade and gender was found, and among the defective factors pork belly status and fat attachment have the most influence on downgrading. It is expected that these analysis results help effective farm management and farmers' long-term and short-term income improvement.
