문해교육을 통한 과학문화 체험의 확대 방안 모색

Seeking Ways to Expand Science Culture Experience through Literacy Education: Focusing on the Case of Education Administration of Hangul University in Nonsan

코로나19시대에 평생교육에 대한 교육행정의 역할은 온오프라인을 통해 그 필요성이 증대되고 있는 것을 확인할 수 있다. 특히 팬데믹으로 인해 과학문해에 대한 관심이 커지면서, 읽기 쓰기 셈하기 등의 문해교육을 넘어 시대적 필요에 부흥하는 문해교육이 필요한 시점이 되었다. 본 논문에서는 문해교육을 통한 과학문화 체험의 확대방안에 대해 살펴보았다. 이를 위해서 문해교육의 개념을 평생교육사적 측면(평생교육법, 교육부 행정조직, 평생교육전담기구, 평생교육 진흥계획 및문해교육 개념의 확장과 지원체계 및 문해교육센터 설치)을 통해 순차적으로 살펴보았다. 다음으로 문해교육에 있어 교육행정의 역할에 대해 문해교육의 주체가 되는 학습자, 교수자, 그리고 교육행정 관련 관계자의 역할과 문해교육 수행에 있어 교육행정 리더십의 종류와 특징을 제시했다. 마지막으로 문해교육을 통한 과학문화 체험의 확대 방안의 방법으로 문해교육 교육과정의 대강화와 교육행정 기관의 재구조화를 통해 코로나19시대에 필요한 문해교육의 역할을 과학문화 체험을 통해 구현해 볼 수 있는 방법을 논산시 한글대학 사례를 통해 살펴보았다.

It can be seen that the need for the role of educational administration in lifelong education in the era of Corona 19 is increasing through online and offline. In particular, as interest in science literacy has grown due to the pandemic, literacy education that meets the needs of the times has become a necessary point beyond literacy education such as reading, writing, and counting. In this paper, a plan to expand science culture experience through literacy education was examined. To this end, the concept of literacy education was sequentially examined in terms of the history of lifelong education (the Lifelong Education Act, the Ministry of Education administrative organization, the lifelong education organization, the lifelong education promotion plan, the expansion of the concept of literacy education, the support system, and the establishment of a literacy education center). Next, regarding the role of educational administration in literacy education, the roles of learners, instructors, and persons related to education administration who are the subjects of literacy education, and the types and characteristics of educational administration leadership in performing literacy education were presented. Lastly, as a method of expanding the experience of science culture through literacy education, the role of literacy education required in the era of Corona 19 can be realized through scientific culture experience through the major reinforcement of the literacy education curriculum and the restructuring of the educational administration. The method was examined through the case of Hangeul University in Nonsan City.
