실제 전력소비량 분석을 통한 대학 캠퍼스 태양광 발전시스템 적정용량 설계 및 경제성 분석

Photovoltaics System Sizing and Economic Analysis of an University Campus Based on Actual Electricity Use Data

Due to the increase of environmental problems around the world, electricity reduction of existing buildings is essential. Especially in Korea, University energy consumption is significant according to national survey. Therefore, this study was conducted to demonstrate the PV system sizing and economical analysis process of an university campus. The study calculated the required PV size and install area through analyzing the power consumption of the university provided by the iSmart DB of Korea Electric Power Corporation and estimated PV power generation of using eQUEST. As a result of the study, when installing a 9,000 kW solar power generation system, the power consumption of the university campus can be reduced by 41.2% with the initial cost of 10.8 billion Korean Won and economic benefit of 13.7 billion Korean Won for 25 years of lifetime.
