Oh Jae Lee Hoo Won's Study of Chinese Poetry

이 연구는 평생 관료의 삶을 산 정치적 인물 이후원이 관직 활동을 하는 동안 세상과 직면하며 고뇌했던 자신의 내면을 문학으로 표출한 시를 중심으로 고찰한 논문이다. 이후원은 시를 통해 삶에 대한 성찰과 자신을 향한 세상의 오해에 대해 해명을 하고자 했으며 세상을 바라보는 의식에도 변화가 있었다. 비교적 순탄한 관료의 삶을 살았다 할지라도 정치 세계란 인간사의 비정이 존재하고 자유롭지 못한 공간이며 객지에서의 업무는 늘 고되고 지친다. 이후원은 나라가 혼란에 빠졌을 때 주변 인물들과 반정을 주도하여 혁명을 감행한 일이 결과적으로 성공했다고 인정하지만, 당시 위험을 무릅쓰고 실행한 이 반정에 대해서 행위의 정당성과 오해에 대한 해명의 의지가 있었다. 이후원은 관직 생활에서 느낀 좌절과 후회를 절감했고 현실과 이상에서 오는 괴리를 자연과 귀전원의 갈망을 염원하며 시로 표현하였다. 본 고는 관료의 처지에서 젊은 시절 자족과 처사적 삶을 꿈꾸며 자연의 섭리에 유유자적하고자 했던 이후원의 인간적 고뇌를 그의 문학적 사유와 함께 고찰하였다. 그의 의식 한편에는 관료로서 좌절과 후회가 있었고 현실과 이상에 괴리감을 느끼기도 하였다. 그가 세상에 나와 바라본 현실 세계는 냉엄했으며 그가 염원했던 이상과 전혀 다른 세계였다. 그가 과거에 급제하기 전에 벼슬길로 나갈 수 있게 한 반정 참여가 오로지 출세에 목적을 둔 의도였는지 아니면 정의를 위해 어쩔 수 없이 행한 올바른 선택이었는지 그가 남긴 漢詩를 통해 내면 의식의 실체를 알 수 있었다.

This paper aims to examine the life of Lee Hoo-won, a politician and thinker who has lived as a bureaucratic and political figure all his life, through literary reasons, explaining his misunderstanding of the world, or changing his consciousness of looking at the world. Even if you lived a relatively smooth life of bureaucrats, the political world is a space where the secret of human history exists and is not free, and work in the destination is increasing and exhausting. Lee admitted that his revolution led by the people around him when the country was in turmoil was successful, but he was willing to justify and explain to some people about the rebellion he carried out at risk at the time. Lee Hoo-won felt the frustration and regret of his government career, and expressed the gap between reality and ideals through the beginning product, wishing for nature and the desire of the returnees. This paper examined Lee Hoo-won's human anguish, dreaming of self-sufficiency and a hermit orientation in his youth, and wanting to be free from the providence of nature, and considering his literary reasons. On one side of his consciousness, there was frustration and regret as a bureaucrat, and he felt a sense of separation between reality and ideals. The real world he came out to the world and looked at was cold and completely different from the ideal he had hoped for. The Chinese poetry he left behind showed the true nature of his inner consciousness whether the participation of the anti-government, which allowed him to go on to the government post in the past, was intended solely for success or was the right choice for justice.
