본고는 홍익인간 사상의 현대적 적용에 의한 홍익정치 실현방향 설정을 시도하였다. 첫째 홍익인간 사상 현대적 적용의 전제조건인 성통·공완수행의 방법과, 법령·제도 및 사회규범 준수 등 재세이화의 주요 실천의무 등을 고찰하였다. 둘째, 법령·제도적 결정권자가 홍익정치관련 당사자와 이해관계자 간에 개인·집단 등 상대관계의 이해 속에서 홍익인간의 관점 및 가치의 추구를 통해, 누구든지 모두 이익이 되는 홍익정치상 적용원칙 및 결정원칙을 모색하였다. 셋째, 개인·사회·민족·국가 등 홍익인간 관점 및 경제적·비경제적 가치의 지향측면과 법령·제도와 규범 등 재세이화의 실천 적용을 고려한 홍익정치 실현 방향으로, 국내 현안문제에 대한 전략목표 및 추진전략 구상내용을 포함하도록제시하였다. 본고의 시사점으로 우선, 홍익인간 사상에 의한 현대적 실천방법의 고찰과 홍익인간의 범주별 상대관계 이해의 반영에 따른 인간이념 관점에서의 실현 가능성을 보인 점이다. 다음, 홍익정치 실현과 관련한 전략목표 및 추진전략을 포함한 실현방향 설정을 시도함으로써, 앞으로 경제·사회·문화·통일등의 영역에서도 적용 및 모색해 볼 수 있는 지평을 넓혀준 점에 큰 의의가 있을것이다.
We tried to establish the direction of realizing Hongik-Ingan's politics by modernizing Hongik-Ingan(弘益人間)'s thought so that we could all live happily together after the model of democratization. First, we considered the methods of completion of the enlightenment and its execution(性通･功完) of the thought, and major practical obligations of about Jaese- Ihwa(在世理化) such as taxonomic statutes, systems, and social norms. Second, through the pursuit of Hongik-Ingan's perspective and values, we established the Hongik's political application principles and decision principles that benefit all so that anyone can live fairly and happily. Third, we have devised strategic objectives and strategies related to the politics on domestic issues. This was proposed to include the current state of operation and improvements of the government on by case basis, the Hongik-Ingan's perspective and the strategy of reassessment, taking into account various relationships. This paper has two implications. One, the feasibility of Hongik-Ingan's thought has been demonstrated in terms of human ideology. Next, it will be significant that it has expanded the possibility of spreading in other sectors by attempting strategic goals and strategies to realize Hongik-Ingan's politics.
