박인환 문학에 대한 오해와 이해

A Study on the literary misunderstanding and objection betweenPark Inhwan and Kim Sooyoung

본 논문은 김수영의 글을 중심으로 당시 박인환의 활동과 그들 사이의 관계를과거의 논문 가운데 밝혀지지 않았던 사실들을 지적하고 이들 둘 사이의 관계에서 빚어진 갈등을 재해석하고 새로운 관점을 제시하려고 한다. 또 필요한 경우당시 지배적이었던 문예이론도 추가하여 모더니즘 시인들의 입장도 정리할 것이다. 박인환은 1948년 『신시론』으로 시작한 모더니즘 활동을 주도하였고 이후 1949 년 『새로운 도시와 시민들의 합창』에 김수영도 합류하였으나 김수영은 6.25 전쟁 중 포로수용소에 억류된 기간이 있어 박인환 생존기에는 활동력에 큰 차이가있다. 또 박인환이 1956년 이른 나이에 사망한 이유로 둘 사이의 비교연구는 제한된 조건에서만 가능할 것이다. 하지만 김수영은 박인환이 세상에 부재중이었음에도 「박인환」, 「마리서사」, 「참여시 정리」 등에서 박인환을 소환하여 비판하였다. 따라서 이들 사이의 오해 원인을 되짚어 볼 필요가 있어 보인다. 먼저 II장에서 박인환의 말이 발단이 되어 나중에 김수영의 비난의 단초가 된프로이트 관련 내용을 간단히 살핀다. 이어서 III장에서 정신분석학과 관련한 박인환을 살펴보며, IV장에서 초현실주의와 김수영 시론에 대하여, 그리고 V장에서 ‘후반기’ 동인들의 갈등 및 마리서사 폐업을 살펴볼 것이다. 나오는 말에서는박인환의 시 「센티멘털 저니」 등을 언급하며 결론을 대신 할 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to present the activities and the relationship between Park Inhwan and Kim Sooyoung, focusing on their writings and poetry of the 1940’s and 1950’s. As is well known, there was a literary conflict between the two poets, so there is a need for reinterpretation. And if necessary, cultural theory will also be added to summarize the view of modernist two poets at the time. Park Inhwan led modernism activities in 1948 with <The New Poetry> litery magazine and Kim Sooyoung later joined <New City and Citizens’ Chorus(1949), led by Park Inhwan. However, there is a big difference in their activities, because Kim Sooyoung was detained in a concentration camp during the Korean War. And since Park Inhwan dies at a young age in 1956, comparative studies between the two poets are inevitably limited. However, since Kim Sooyoung criticized Park Inhwan even while he was absent from the world, we need to recognize the cause of the misunderstanding between them. First, in Chapter 2, we will look at the content related to Freud, because Park Inhwan's comments about Freud led Kim Sooyoung to criticize Park Inhwan. Next, Chapter 3 examines the world of Inhwan Park's poetry, which is related to psychoanalysis. And In Chapter IV, we will look at modernism and surrealism. And in Chapter V, we will examine the conflicts of the 'second half' co-workers and the closure of Mariseosa bookstore. In the last chapter, I will conclude my thesis by reviewing Park Inhwan's poem <Sentimental Journey>.
