니체의 음악정신에 나타난 미적 교육에 대하여

On Aesthetic Education Appeared in Nietzsche’s the Spirit of Music

니체에게 삶은 정신을 자유롭게 하며 사유에 날개를 달아주는 음악정신을 실현하기 위한 것이다. 니체는 인간은 본래적인 모습을 간직하고 살아갈 때 가장 행복하기 때문에 니체 철학이 지니는 교육적 의미는 인간다운 삶에 있었다. 니체에게 음악정신을 통한 미적교육은 인간이 끊임없이 초월되어야하는 존재임을 자각하고 위버멘쉬와 해방자로서 가치를 실현하는 것이 그의 교육의 핵심가치이다. 미적 교육의 목표는 대립되는 예술의 원리들, 아폴론적 관조와 디오니소스적 탈아와 같은 미적 경험을 통해 세계의 진실을 파악하고 인간 본래적인 모습을 회복하는데 있다. 미적 경험은 인간이 세계내의 파괴적 투쟁이라기 보다는 창조적인 경쟁을 함축하는 아곤(Agon), 즉 경쟁(Wettkampt)의 지평에서 보다 나은 삶을 추구하는 ‘힘 에의 의지’로 해석된다. 힘에의 의지는 끊임없는 자기 극복의 원천으로 초월되어야하는 존재임을 자각하는 존재론적 경험을 의미한다. 그의 음악정신을 통한 미적교육은 중요한 존재론적 사고과정이며, 또한 미적경험을 통해 위버멘쉬는 진정한 교육자와 해방자로서 가치를 실현하게 된다. 본연구는 니체에게 미적 교육이 예술자이자 예술작품으로써 그리고 미적 경험을 통해 이루어지는 교육의 의미를 밝혀보고자 한다.

For Nietzsche, life does not exist simply for any other desire or goal, but to realize the spirit of music that frees the mind and gives wings to thought. According to Nietzsche, human beings are happiest when they live in their original form, so the educational meaning of Nietzsche’s philosophy was in a human life. For Nietzsche, the core value of his education is to realize that human beings need to be transcended constantly and realize their values as Übermensch and liberators. The goal of aesthetic education is to grasp the truth of the world and restore human nature through aesthetic experiences such as the opposing principles of art, Apollonian ‘contemplation’ and Dionysian ‘ecstasy’. Aesthetic experience is interpreted not as a destructive struggle with the world, but as a 'will to power' that seeks a better life on the horizon of the agon, that is, competition (Wettkampt) implied by creative competition. The will to power is the source of endless self-overcoming, which makes possible the ontological experience of realizing that human beings are beings who must constantly be transcended. Aesthetic education through his musical spirit is an important ontological thought process, and through aesthetic experience, Übermensch realizes his value as a true educator and liberator. This study aims to clarify the meaning of education for Nietzsche as an artist, as a work of art, and through aesthetic experience.
