헤겔과 하이데거의 공간-시간성 비교 고찰

A Study on Hegel and Heidegger’s Space-Temporality

헤겔은 시간과 공간을 아프리오리(a priori)한 형식적 제약으로 제시한 칸트를 통해 정신과의 관계에서 탐구한다. 헤겔이 정신과의 관계에서 시간을 탐구한 이유는 표상에서 현출한 유한자의 시간은 스스로를 끝없는 모순으로 몰락시켜 세계가 정신적인 것과 자연적인 것의 상대적으로 있음을 보지 못하기 때문이다. 따라서 헤겔은 공간에 대한 시간의 우위성을 전제하고 경험-범주적인 존재의 규정을 극복하여 정신-범주적인 이념의 운동으로서 시간과 공간의 관계를 분석한다. 그러나 하이데거는 이러한 헤겔의 이해를 존재가 빚어내는 근원적 시간을 오히려 은폐시킨다고 주장한다. 하이데거의 관점에서 지금-시간은 평준화된 시간이며 전형적인 통속적 시간에 불과하기 때문이다. 시간은 존재의 진리가 현성하는 탈자적인(ekstatisch) 장으로 경험될 수 있어야 한다. 이런 맥락에서 본 연구는 헤겔과 하이 데거의 공간과 시간에 대한 관념을 해명하고, 헤겔의 변증법적 시간론이 인간의 현실을 제대로 반영하지 못한 형이상학의 재래라는 하이데거의 주장을 살펴보고자 한다.

Hegel seek Time and Space in the relation to Geist through Kant, who prensents them as the “a priori” formal conditional. The reason why Hegel explore Time in the relation to Geist is because the time of the finite can not see the world being as the relative thing of the spiritual to he natural. Thus Hegel presupposes an dominant of Time over Space, overcomes the empirical-categorical definition of Being, analyzes the relation of Time to Space as the movement of a spiritual-categorical idea. But Heidegger insists that Hegel’s understanding conceals primordial Time created by Being. Because the Now is just the ordinary time in his point of view. Time should be able to be experienced as a ecstatic field in which the truth of being is manifested. In this context, this study elucidates Hegel and Heidegger’s concept of Time and Space, find out that Hegel’s dialectical time is the continuation of traditional metaphysics which fails to reflect the reality of human beings.
