이 논문에서 나는 形神과 感應이라는 중국 고대 몸의 논리를 통해 인간의 역사를 논한다. 形의 의미는 가시적인 육신이고 모델이자 형태이며 사회제도이다. 神은 비가시적인 자연신이자 신성이고, 생명력이며 정신이다. 감응관은 자발적이고 유기체적인 세계질서의 근본 원리로서 여겨졌다. 우주 안의 모든 사물은 서로 공명하는 것이다. 나는 형신과 감응이라는 두 개념으로써 생명의 기원에서 현생인류의 조상의 특징, 고대 문명의 성격 및 현대 인류의 상황에 이르기까지 포괄적인 해석을 시도했다.
In this article, I discuss a history of human being through the ancient chinese logic of body as xingshen(形神) and resonance. The meaning of xing is visible body, model, form, and social system. The shen is invisible spirits of nature, divinity, vital forces, and mind. The idea of cosmic resonance was regarded as the basic principle of a spontaneous and organic world－order. All things in the universe resonated with each other. I attempt to interpret comprehensively the origin of life, characteristics of homo sapiens’ ancestor, features of ancient civilization, and modern human situation in the light of two concepts, xingshen and resonance.
