알파고의 승리와 더불어 소위 미래의학에 대한 다양한 논의가 나오고 있다. 인공지능 의사가 인간 의사를 대체할 것이라는 두려움에 휩싸여, 기술이 무엇을 의미하는지에 대한 철학적 고찰은 눈에 잘 띄지 않는다. 최근의 인공지능의 획기적인 발전을 가져온 딥 러닝에 대한 기술적 개괄과 이것이 의철학적으로 가지는 의미를 살폈다. 딥 러닝에 의한 자료 해석은 들뢰즈적 다양체를 잘 설명해줄 수 있으며, 이는 기존의 본질주의적 해석을 넘어서기 위한 시도에 적합하게 활용될 수 있다. 따라서 본질주의에 기반한 의학적 환원주의를 극복할 수 있는 단초를 딥 러닝 기반의 해석적 틀에서 마련할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 이를 통해 인공지능 기술이 오히려 진단과 치료에 있어 신체에만 집중하던 기존의 의학에 대안을 제시할 수 있음을 주장하고자 한다.

Big data, machine learning, and deep learning may bring an incredible jump in artificial intelligence field, and it’ll be able to be a surprising momentum for future medicine. However, we have to discuss the philosophical meaning of such a technological evolution. Data analysis thorough deep learning could explain Deleuze’s mulitplicité well. We can tackle essentialism in medicine with the interpretational frame with deep learning. Above all, with machine learning and deep learning, we could catch a clue for finding a way to search other domains of health and illness, beyond medicine’s focus on the body.
