Autonomous Decision Medical System and Moral Responsibility

자율 판단 의료 시스템의 도입은 과거 자동화 시스템이 도덕적 책임에 던진 질문을 한층 더 복잡하게 만들고 있다. 자동화 시스템의 다수성과 원격성문제에 더하여, 자율 판단 의료 시스템은 역설적 직접성을 통한 고립을 초래하며, 이것은 의료적 상황에서 도덕적 책임을 살피는 것에 큰 도전을 던진다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 과거 자동화 시스템의 도덕적 책임 문제를 해결하기 위해 제기된 두 가지 모형, 즉 도덕적 기계와 긍정적 책임을 살핀 다음, 서사 윤리를 통해 책임 문제에 다른 방식으로 접근할 수 있는지 살폈다. 특히 서사 윤리는 전통적인 책임 논의의 책임 단일 주체를 판정하려는 접근과 달리 발생한 사건의 다면성과 다원성에 주목하여, 자율 판단 의료 시스템이 제기하는 다수성, 원격성, 직접성 문제에 상호적 책임을 통한 해결책을 제시한다. 마지막으로 논문은 하나의 모형이 모든 답을 제시할 수 없으며, 여러 모형의 중첩을 통한 실천적 논의로 나아가야 한다고 주장한다.

The questions posed on the moral responsibility by automated systems are getting more complex and complicated by the introduction of an autonomous decision medical system. Autonomous decision medical systems cause an isolation of the parties of the health care by paradoxical directness, and it makes worse the matter of multiplicity and remoteness of the automated system. Therefore, this paper explores two models which addresses the issue of the moral responsibility in the automated systems, namely the moral machine and positive responsibility, to examine that the model could be used for dealing the matter of directness. Also, it considers the notion of subject in the intersubjectivity and the concept of narrative ethics to search a possible resolution of those matters. The approach of narrative ethics to the question of the moral responsibility focuses on the shared responsibility of each party. This multifaceted dimension of the responsibility could be useful in resolving the multiplicity, remoteness, and isolation problems raised by the automated system. The paper argues that one model could not present all the answers, thus moving to practical discussion through the overlapping of various models is preferred.
