중국진출 다국적기업 R&D 랩의 통제관리전략이 경영성과에 미치는 영향

Effects of Control Strategies of MNCs on the Business Performances of Their R&D Labs in China

중국에 진출한 다국적 기업 R&D 랩들이 중국 내에서 비즈니스를 활발하게 수행하고 있다. 이에 따라 다국적 기업들의 경영성과가 중국 내 설립한 R&D랩에 대한 통제관리에 달려있음을 인식하고 통제형태 선택에 큰 관심을 보이고 있다. 그들이 선택한 통제관리 형태는 집권화 통제, 공식화 통제 및 사회화 통제 세가지이다. 그들이 선택한 통제관리전략이 제각기 그들의 경영성과에 미치는 영향에 대해 검증하고자 하였으며, 실증결과는 공식화 통제와 사회화 통제는 경영성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 드러났으며,집권화 통제가 경영성과에 미치는 영향은 검증되지 않은 것으로 나타났다.

According to expanding business activities of multinational R&D Labs in China, they have been controlled by their headquarters. We classified their control strategies into three types such as centralization control, socialization control and formalization control. The results of this study shows that both formalization and socialization control types affect on business performances of MNCs significantly , on the other hand, we couldn``t find out the significant relationship between centralization control and their business performances.
