한국의 대 중남미 해외직접투자

본 연구는 중남미로의 해외직접투자가 증가하면서 이 지역에 대한 관심과 중요도가 증가하고 있다. 하지만 아직까지 중남미 지역에 대한 실증연구들은 부족한 상황이다. 따라서 본 연구는 중남미 지역에서 대한 연구 필요를 인식하고 중남미 지역 자회사 성과에 영향을 미치는 변수를 분석하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 자회사 상황에 관한 4가지 변수와 3가지 자회사 전략이 자회사의 총자산회전율에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 한다. 분석결과 본사의 규모, 투자형태 그리고 자회사 영업기간이 자회사 성과에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타난 반면 구매현지화 전략은 성과에 부정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 본 연구에서 살펴본 자회사 상황과 전략의 상호작용은 변수들의 영향 정도를 감소시켜주는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 자회사 관리자에게 경쟁자와의 차이를 감소시키게 할 수 있는 집중화 전략의 활용을 제안할 수 있을 것이다.

As Korea OFDI to Central and South America have increased fairly. Together interest and importance of this area have increased. However empirical research is yet scant. Purpose of this study is to field the gap of need by analyzing antecedents of subsidiary performance Central and South America. This study consider four circumstantial character and three strategy of subsidiary as antecedent of subsidiary performance which is measured as turnover ratio of total asset. The results show that investment firm size, investment type and subsidiary business year positive influence to performance of subsidiary. However local procurement ratio give negative influence. Interaction between circumstantial character and strategy of subsidiary decrease of influence. Which implies that manager of subsidiary could use centrality strategy in order to catch up the competitor.
