본 연구의 목적은 중국에 있어서 외국인직접투자[FDI(Inward)];자본과 경제성장(GRDP)간의 관계 및 영향을 파악하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위하여 FDI 유입 초기인 1983년부터 2012년까지의 시계열자료를 사용하였으며;이들 변수에 대해 전국단위(TR);화북(NR);동북(NE);화동(ER);화중(CR);화남(SR);서남(SW)과 서북지역(NW)으로 구분한 다음 공적분 검정;Granger 인과관계 검정;VAR과 VECM를 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과는 첫째 공적분 검정에서 전국단위;화북;동북;화동과 서북지역은 공적분이 존재하고 나머지 지역은 공적분이 존재하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째;Causality 검정에서 ER의 FDI(Inward)-GRDP와 NW의 KAP-GRDP와 KAP-FDI관계에서는 양방향 인과관계가 존재하나 CR;NE;NR과 SE에서는 GRDP-FDI간에 인과관계가 존재하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 ER지역에서 FDI가 GRDP에 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 그러나 다른 지역단위에서는 FDI가 GRDP에 영향을 미치지 않으며 이들간에는 인과관계가 존재하지 않은 것이 입증되었다. 마지막으로 분산분해분석에서 화북;화동;화중;서남지역은 FDI (Inward)가 상대적으로 영향력있는 변수로 나타났으며;전국단위;화북;동북;화남;서남 그리고 서북지역의 경우는 GRDP변수가 상대적으로 중요한 변수로 입증되었다.
This paper aims to analyze the relationship among FDI(Inward);capital;and economic growth in China and how they affect each other. This paper used the annual time series data from 1983 to 2012;dividing total(TR);north(NR);northeast(NE);east(ER);central(CR);south(SR);southwest(SW) and northwest region(NW). This study tests the relationship among variables by using the Granger causality test;VECM and VAR. The results of this study are as followings. Firstly;there is cointegraion relation in TR;NR;NE;ER and NW;while no cointegration relation in CR;SR and SE. Secondly;Causality test using VECM and VAR proved that causality between GRDP-FDI in CR;NE;NR and SE had not existed;whereas bilateral causality between FDI(Inward)-GRDP in ER;and KAP-GRDP;KAP-FDI in NW existed;in which FDI affected GRDP in ER. In these models;it was found that FDI did not affect GRDP and had no causality among them. Finally;in the variance decomposition test;it was proved that FDI(Inward) variable for NR;ER;CR;SE model and GRDP variable for TR;NR;NE;SR;SE;NW model are the most affected variable of the each model.
