Analysis the structural model of perceived autonomy coaching behavior, satisfaction, and sport moral behavior of high school Taekwondo athletes
The purpose of this study was to analyze the structural model of perceived autonomy coaching behavior, satisfaction, and sport moral behavior. Participants were 326 high school Taekwondo athletes (male 239 and female 87). Descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and structural equation model (SEM) analysis were conducted by using SPSS and AMOS. The model fit indices were reveals as CMIN/DF=2.378, CFI=.969, TLI=.959, RMSEA=.065 (90%CI=.051, .079). Specifically, first, autonomy coaching behavior had a positive effect on satisfaction. Second, autonomy coaching behavior had a positive effect on prosocial behavior. In addition, autonomy coaching behavior influence prosocial and antisocial behavior by mediating satisfaction. Third, satisfaction had a positive effect on prosocial behavior and negative effect on antisocial behavior. In conclusion, in order to promote prosocial behavior and prevent antisocial behavior, the satisfaction of athletes should be increased by using autonomy coaching strategies to support their autonomy.
