Causes of and Preventive Measures against Camping Car Fires

코로나19 장기화로 인한 언택트 힐링의 유행과 캠핑 문화 확산에 따라 캠핑용자동차 대수가 증가하고 있다. 캠핑용자동자증가에 수반하여 캠핑용자동차화재도 증가하는 추세이다. 본 논문에서는 캠핑용자동차와 관련된 화재통계, 화재사례와 관련법규 등 규제 실태를 분석하였다. 예방대책으로 캠핑용자동차 제작 시부터 준수해야 하는 안전기준 제정과 안전시설 설치, 안전관리 강화 등을 제안한다.

The number of camping cars is increasing owing to the increasing trend of “untact” healing brought about by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and the spread of the camping culture. With an increase in the number of camping cars, camping car fires are concurrently on the rise. This study analyzes the fire statistics, fire cases, and regulatory status related to camping cars. As a preventive measure, the study proposes to establish safety standards, install safety facilities, and strengthen safety management measures that must be complied with during the manufacture of camping cars.
