본 연구는 한반도 통일의 정치․경제적 효과와 한반도 통일과 지역발전 간에 어떠한 상관관계가 있는지를 분석하는 것이 주목적이다. 한반도 통일은 민주주의 국가 건설, 북한주민의 인권신장과 이산가족 문제 해결 그리고 비핵평화국가를 건설해 세계평화에 기여하는 긍정적인정치적 효과가 있다. 그리고 통일한국은 남한의 자본과 기술력 그리고북한의 자원과 노동력이 결합되어 해외투자 활성화와 내수시장확대 효과를 가져와 세계 7위의 경제대국으로 성장하게 될 것이다. 특히 남북한 교류증대와 지역산업과 연계는 남북한 지역발전에도 긍정적인 효과가 있을 것이다. 따라서 한반도 통일과 지역발전을 위해서 남북한 상호교류를 통해 서로 신뢰할 수 있는 대내외적인 공감대를 형성해야 한다. 구체적으로 한반도 신뢰프로세스 구축과 남북한 동질성회복, 사회복지정책의 재정비, 통일협의체 구성과 통일헌법 마련이라는 정치적 노력이필요하다. 그리고 경제적으로 남북경협활성화, 농업개발지원, 남북한공동번영을 위한 인프라구축 그리고 개성공단 및 금강산관광의 재개를통해 지역산업 및 남북한 지방정부간의 교류를 증진시켜 한반도의 균형적 지역발전을 이끌어내야 한다.
This study aims to check the Political and economic effect in the united Korea and regional development. Most of the people sympathetic about the need for unity, but that has been focusing on the negative perceptions about the unification costs. Therefore, there is a need to change these negative perceptions about the cost of unification with presenting a positive concrete data about the political and economic unification effect. The political effects of the present study is the construction of a unified Korea democracies and will be the effect of international peace through peaceful non-nuclear countries. Economic effect as a unity through economic growth and infrastructure development through the activation of the Korea domestic market will grow by 7 largest economy in the world. In order to maximize the political and economic effects of a unified Korea, it is necessary to form the internal and external consensus that the South-North Koreas can trust each other and cooperate prosperity.
