본 연구는 학교통일교육에 관한 국내의 연구들을 체계적으로 분석·종합하여 학교통일교육의 실재적 개선에 필요한 시사점을 도출하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 이의 달성을 위하여 학교통일교육교육의 연구동향과특징을 살펴보았다. 그리고 학교통일교육 연구의 한계는 무엇이며, 학교통일교육의 개선 및 발달을 위한 과제는 무엇인지를 설정해 보았다. 본 연구결과, 우선적으로 체계적인 학교통일교육 진단이 필요함을 시사하였고, 나아가 남・북한 학교통일교육 통합의 원칙과 방법을 명확히규명해야 함을 제시하였다. 마지막으로 학교통일교육을 위한 지원 과제를 제시함으로써 균형적인 통일역량 배양에 관한 기초정보를 제공하였다. 이를 통하여 남・북한이 사회・문화적으로 서로 다른 이질감을 갖고 있음을 인지하고 이를 통합할 수 있는 태도와 가치관 형성이 필요함을 제시하였다.
The purpose of this study draws to implication on reality improvement of school unification education analysing research of that. To accomplish their purpose, inspected closely the trend of research and characteristics on education for unification in school. And setting on what the limitation have the school unification education, assignment on improvement and development of it. As the results, it needs a systematic diagnosis of the school unification education on the preferential basis. Furthermore it suggested the rule and way of integration of it. Finally, provided basic information presentation on unification capability cultivation to the school unification education showing the policy tasks for development. Go through of these, it suggested to need a attitude and building of valued to integrate of unification on that.
