A Study of Conception and Fulfillment on World Village Networks

The necessity in pursuit of cooperation and development by networking numerous villages has been posed around the world from a long time ago. Nevertheless there has not made a big breakthrough until now. This is come from the lack of understanding of the value of village and resulted from not finding appropriate methodology. However, the rapid development of internet in the 21st Century increase the possibility of village networks locally and globally. This is true of World Village Networks (WVNs) in order to revitalize and reinforce the sustainability of villages all over the world. Especially, the 21st Century is regarded as the ages of communities and the age of networks. This is not a coincidence. Now, WVNs, which connect villages around the world through internet network, are the demands of times and a golden opportunity. By the way, WVNs do not mean simply connecting villages. The differentiated approach is requested for the system to bear its intrinsic part. Most of all WVNs have to embrace all villages of world as much as possible and are need to include cooperative, village corporate, and social enterprise rooted in villages as a basic unit. These organizations are outputs of the evolutionary processes of villages. Most of all, WVNs to play fully the roles as a platform, which revitalize the depressed villages and enhance their sustainabilities, are needed to connected to villiology, to actively use collective intelligence, to extended to new governance, and to orient to commons. WVNs can realize not only the networks and solidarities but also the vitalizations and sustainabilities of villages which are scattered all around the world. And, it is time to focus on human's idea in order that WVNs themselves contribute as a new commons.
