Translation of New Korean Translation’s Acts and its Direction: Possibility and Preparation of Greek Vorlage’s Changes

본 연구는 『새한글성경』(2021년) 사도행전을 헬라어 대본의 관점에서 살펴본다. 『새한글성경』은 네스틀레-알란트 28판을 대본으로하여 번역되었다. 다른 국역 성경들(『표준새번역』, 『공동번역』, 『개역개정』등) 역시 네스틀레-알란트판을 번역 혹은 개정 대본으로 사용하였는데 시기상 26-27판(혹은 UBS판)을 사용했다. 그러나 2012년 제28판이 출판되면서, 『새한글성경』은 이 판을 대본으로 삼았다. 문제는 네스틀레-알란트 28판부터 대비평본(ECM)의 본문이 합병된 것이다. 예를 들어, ECM 공동서신의 본문은 이미 네스틀레-알란트 28판에 반영되었고 이전 판들과 다른 본문을 제시하는 경우 『새한글성경』의 번역도 변경되었다(예. 유 1:5). 그런데 네스틀레-알란트 28판이 출판될 당시 ECM 사도행전은 미출판 상태였으나 2017년에 출판되었다. 그리고 그 본문은 네스틀레-알란트와 자구(字句)로는 52개, 문장부호 등을 포함할 때 더 많은 부분이 변경되었다. 그러나 『새한글성경』은 이를 반영하지 못했다. 그러나 향후 네스틀레-알란트판에 ECM 사도행전 본문이 반영될 것이기에 『새한글성경』편집부는 이 점을 고려해야 한다. 따라서 본 논문은 그 변경가능성에 따른 교정 본문을 제안하면서, 향후 ECM판이 추가적으로 출판될 것(마가복음의 경우 2021년에 출간)을 대비한 노력의 다음과 같이 제시했다. 첫째, ECM에 대한 평가와 번역에 반영. 둘째, 예상되는 잦은 변경을 고려한 『새한글성경』의 판형 제작 문제. 마지막으로, 국역 성경 번역을 위한 헬라어 대본 준비.

This article examines Acts of New Korean Translation(NKT, 2021) from the perspective of the Greek Vorlage. NKT was translated based on the 28th edition of Nestle-Aland’s Novum Testamentum Graece(NA28). This is the same as in the case of the rest Korean Bibles also used the Nestle-Aland’s edition as their translation or revision Vorlage. However, 26-27th editions (or UBS editions) were used due to the timing. However, when the 28th edition was published in 2012, NKT used this edition as its Vorlage. The problem is that the Editio Critica Maior(ECM) text was merged from NA28. For example, the text of the ECM’s Catholic Letters has already been reflected in NA28, and NKT has been changed in translation when Vorlage’s text is different from NT27. However, when NA28 was published, ECM’s Acts was unpublished, but it was published in 2017. Moreover, its text was changed 52 times from NA28’s reading text, excluding punctuation marks, etc. However, NKT did not reflect these changes. However, since the text of ECM’s Acts will be incorporated into the new NA edition in the future, the editors of NKT should consider this point. Therefore, this article proposes a revised text according to the possibility of changes of Vorlage and presents the following suggestions in preparation for the additional publication of the ECM version in the future (e.g., ECM Mark in 2021). First the evaluation of ECM and reflecting its text on NKT. Second the issue of publishing way of NKT in consideration of the expected frequent changes. Finally, the preparation of the Greek edition(s) for the future Korean translation.
