예비유아교사의 유년기 놀이경험이 놀이신념과 놀이교수효능감에 미치는 영향 : 도시지역에서 유년기를 보낸 예비유아교사를 대상으로

The Effect of Preservice Teachers’ Play Memories on Play Belief and Play Teaching Efficacy: Focusing on Preservice Teachers Who Spent Their Childhood in Urban Areas

본 연구의 목적은 예비유아교사들의 유년기 놀이경험이 놀이신념과 놀이교수효능감에 미치는 영향을 확인하는 것이다. 이를 위해 3년제 대학교 유아교육과에 재학 중인 예비유아교사 239명을 대상으로 유년기 놀이경험, 놀이신념, 놀이교수효능감에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 18.0을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 예비유아교사들은 실외놀이, 동적놀이, 대근육놀이를 많이 하였고, 놀이를 더 많이 하였고, 놀이시간은 충분했다고 기억하였다. 또한, 놀이감은 주로 구입하였고 충분하였으며, 전자매체는 적었던 것으로 기억하였다. 집단놀이를 많이 하였고, 주도적 역할을 한 것으로 기억하였다. 둘째, 예비유아교사들은 비교적 높은 놀이신념과 놀이교수효능감을 보였다. 셋째, 예비유아교사들의 유년기 놀이경험 중 주도적 역할, 전자매체비중, 대소근육 활동은 놀이신념에 유의한 영향을 미치고, 주도적 역할은 놀이교수효능감에 유의한 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 예비유아교사의 놀이에 대한 개념과 지원에 대한 교육프로그램 개발의 기초자료로 활용될 것으로 기대한다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of preservice teacher’s play memories on play beliefs and play teaching efficacy. The participants were 239 college students majoring in early childhood education. These preservice teachers answered the questionnaires about play memories, calling, play beliefs, and play teaching efficacy. The data were analyzed by SPSS WIN 18.0. The results were as follows: First, preservice teachers remembered that they played much more outdoors than indoors, more active than quiet and more gross motor skill. They than fine motor skill. They spent more time playing than learning and they had enough time for playing. They had enough play materials and did not contact with electric materials. Also they preferred playing with friends and they played more initiative role in play group. Second, preservice teachers had relatively high level of play beliefs and play teaching efficacy. Third. role in play group, contact of electronic materials and gross-fine motor activity were powerful variables to affect on preservice teachers’ play beliefs, and role in play group was significantly powerful variable to affect on their play teaching efficacy. The results of this study suggested the implication for education program of children’s play for preservice teachers.
