7세기 전반 삼국의 경계

The boundaries of the three kingdoms in the first half of the 7th century: Criticism of ‘Silla’s territorial possession in southwest Gyeonggi province theory’

지금까지 신라가 6세기 중반 한강 유역에 진출하면서 현 경기도 서남부 지역까지 자치했다고 보는 것이 일반적이지만, 실제 그것을 뒷받침하는 자료적 근거는 없다. 그동안 당연시되던 ‘党項城=唐城’은 뚜렷한 증명 없이 형성된 이해가 답습되면서 굳어진 것이며, 또 다른 근거로 중시되던 당성 유적도 이 전제에 따라 해석된 측면이 강하다. 따라서 신라의 경기 서남부 영유도 전면적인 재검토가 불가피하다. 7세기 초 고구려와 백제는 한강을 경계로 대립하고 있었고, 신라는 남한강 수계를 따라 한강으로 진출하며 이를 바탕으로 서쪽으로 백제의 영토를 잠식하였다. 이로 인해 양국의 경계는 대략 광주-용인-진위-직산을 연결하는 선을 중심으로 형성되었다. 양국이 공방을 벌이던 椵岑城은 용인 지역으로 비정된다. 당성 유적은 백제가 初築한 것이며, 이후 신라가 확보하고 補築하였다. 현재 확인된 축성 방식이나 출토 유물은 7세기 중반 이전 신라의 영유를 뒷받침할 수 없다.

Until now, it has been common to assume that Silla had self-governed to the southwest province of current Gyeonggi as it expanded to the Han river basin in the mid 6th century. The theory that considers Silla"s Danghang Castle(党項城) as Dangseong(唐城), which has been taken for granted, was solidified as the understanding formed without clear proof was followed. Also, remains of Danngseong which was valued as basis, are also interpreted according to this premise. Therefore, ‘Silla’s territorial possession in southwest Gyeonggi province theory’ need to be reexamined in full-scale. In the early period of the 7th century, Goguryeo and Baekjae were at odds over the Han rive. Also Silla expanded to the Han river along the water system of Namhan river and based on it, Silla westerly encroached the territory of Baekjae. For this reason, the boundary between the two countries was formed centering around the line connecting Gwangju, Yongin, Jinwi, and Jiksan. Gakam-seongm which is attacked and defended between two countries, is assumed to Yongin. The remains of Dangseong was built by Baekjae at first and after Silla retained it, was constructed again. Currently, construction method which was confirmed or relics which were excavated cannot support the possession of Silla before the middle of the 7th century.
