Effect of Health Department Students' Major Satisfaction and Communication Ability on Personality

Objectives: This study intends to identify the relationship between health students' personality, major satisfaction, and communication ability level and use them as basic data for character development of health students. Methods: This study was prepared using the self-report questionnaire method for convenience extraction of college students from health-related universities located in Daejeon and Chungcheong Province from March 29 to April 15, 2021. Data analysis was performed using IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0 program. Results: Based on 5 points, personality was 4.05, major satisfaction was 3.70, and communication ability was 3.55. Factors affecting the personality level of health students were college life satisfaction, communication ability, and major satisfaction, and the most influential factor was college life satisfaction, which accounted for 40.3%. Conclusions: As a result of the above, efforts are required to increase college life satisfaction, communication ability, and major satisfaction as a measure to strengthen the personality level of health students.
