켄 윌버의 통합심리학 관점에서 본 김일성유일사상체계 집단정체성과 한반도 사회통합

Collective Identity of Kimilsung Monolithic Ideological System and Social Integration on The Korean Peninsular from the Perspective of Ken Wilber’s Integral Psychology

한반도는 통일과 통일 이후 사회통합을 준비해야 하는 시기를 맞고 있다. 그러나 사회통합을 위한 준비는 사실상 초기 단계에 머무르고 있다. 남한과 북한 사회가 분단 이후 형성된 서로에 대한 편견으로 객관적인 이해가 결여되어 있기 때문이다. 한반도의 통일과 사회통합을 이루기 위해서는 남북한 주민의 의식과 심리상태에 대한 연구가 체계적으로 이루어져야 한다. 본 연구에서는 켄 윌버의 통합사상 관점에서 북한의 김일성유일사상체계 집단정체성을 분석하였다. 김일성유일사상체계 집단정체성은 자발적 성격인 ‘체제충성성’, ‘체제신뢰성’과 규범적 성격의 ‘체제우월성’, ‘체제우위성’으로 구성되었다고 보았다. 통합을 이루는 통합사상은 가장 높은 사상의 발달단계로 볼 수 있으며 자발적 성격은 규범적 성격보다 다소 높은 단계이나 통합사상에 이르지 못한 발달의 단계로 볼 수 있었다. 그 이유는 김일성유일사상체계 집단정체성의 형성과정과 관련이 깊다고 할 수 있다. ‘규범적 성격’은 주체사상의 ‘수령관’과 ‘10대 원칙’에 의해서 강제로 유지되기 때문에 자발적으로 형성된 ‘자발적 성격’보다 낮은 단계이다. 개인의 자율성이 부족하다고 보기 때문이다. 의존적인 상태는 자율적인 상태의 하위단계라고 볼 수 있으며 자율적인 상태는 통합적인 상태의 하위단계라 볼 수 있다. 한반도의 사회통합을 위해서는 김일성유일사상체계 집단정체성의 특성을 충분히 포용할 수 있는 높은 발달 단계의 통합심리가 필요하며 이를 위한 연구가 체계적으로 진행되어야 한다.

People on the Korean Peninsular must be facing times to prepare for the unification of their territory and the integration of their society. However, the South and North Koreans are at their initial stage of the preparation for their social integration. One of the reasons is their lacking in their disinterested understanding of each other, caused by their mutual preoccupations formed after the division of the territory. Systematic studies about the consciousness and psychological states of South and North Koreans are so required that the unification of the peninsular and the social integration may be expedited. In this study, collective identity of Kimilsung monolithic ideological system in North Korea is analysed by using the perspective of Ken Wilber's integral psychology. Collective identity of Kimilsung monolithic ideological system is presumed to keep both its voluntary characteristics, ‘system loyalty’ and ‘system reliability’ and its compulsory characteristics, ‘system supremacies’ and ‘system predominances’. It is suggested that integration ideology for achieving the social integration is the highest development level of ideologies. Voluntary characteristics are higher than compulsory characteristics but not reach the development level of integration ideology. The reason appears to be deeply related to the process of formation of collective identity of Kimilsung monolithic ideological system. Compulsory characteristics are of lower development level than voluntary characteristics which are formed voluntarily, because compulsory characteristics are sustained compulsorily through ‘the great leader theory’ and ‘ten principles’ and lack in the autonomy of individuals. Dependency state is subordinate to autonomy state, while autonomy state is subordinate to integration state. For the social integration on the peninsular which is about to be unified, a high level of integration ideology should be worked out systematically into which characteristics of collective identity of Kimilsung monolithic ideological system can be embraced.
