대학 교양 수업에서의 비대면 서비스러닝 운영 사례 연구

A Case Study of Non-contact Service Learning Operation in University Liberal Arts Classes: Focusing on H University <Thinking and Expression(SL)>

본 연구는 코로나 상황에서 서비스러닝 기반 교양과목을 비대면 방식의 수업과 대면 방식의 지역사회봉사를 접목한 수업 설계와 이에 따른 효과에 대해 고찰해보고, 효과적인 교과 운영의 방안을 모색하는 데 있다. 서비스러닝은 학교에서 전문지식을 배우고 이를 현장에서 연계하여 실습을 통한 경험 교육이 이루어지도록 하는 교수법으로, 학생들의 학습 증진과 지역사회의 유익함을 함께 추구하는 교육 방법이다. 본 수업에 대한 효과를 알아보기 위해 교과 운영 후 수강생, 봉사대상자들을 대상으로 수업 만족도 조사를 실시하였고, 학습경험을 심층적으로 분석하기 위해서 성찰일지와 심층 면담 내용을 Giorgi의 현상학적 분석 방법으로 검토하였다. 연구결과, 수업에 대한 학생들의 높은 만족도와 학생들 스스로 자각하고 있는 학습 효과 및 내적 성장, 역량 함양을 통해 긍정적인 교육적 효과를 확인할 수 있었으며, 학생들의 학습과 팀별 봉사활동에 유의미한 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났다. 포스트 코로나 시대에 변화되는 교육환경에 대응하기 위한 유연하고 효과적인 교수전략 및 방안을 지속적으로 모색하는 것이 필요하다고 본다. 이에 본 연구 결과는 서비스러닝 관련 교과 개발 및 봉사활동과 연계된 여러 유형의 수업들에 참고자료로 활용될 수 있다는 점에서 의의를 가진다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the design of classes combining non-contact speaking classes and face-to-face community services in the Covid situation and the effects thereof, and to seek the methods of effective curriculum management. As a form of experiential education, service learning is an educational method that integrates professional knowledge education in schools and practical training in the field to pursue student learning and community outcomes and values. After the course operation, a class satisfaction survey was conducted on students and volunteers to find out the effects of the service learning teaching method and the class operation method, and the reflection log and in-depth interview results were reviewed using the Giorgi's phenomenological analysis method. In this study, it was possible to confirm the positive educational effect of the proposed methods through the high satisfaction of students with the class, the learning effect that the students themselves were aware of, and their internal growth and capacity building. It was also found that the strategy had a significantly positive effect on students' learning and team volunteer work. It is considered necessary to continuously seek flexible and effective teaching strategies and measures to respond to the changing educational environment in the post-Covid era. Therefore, the results of this study are meaningful in that they can be used as reference materials for the development of service learning and its related subjects and various types of classes related to volunteer activities.
