초등 저학년 자기표현력 향상을 위한 국어와 연극의 효율적인 협력 수업 방안 연구

A Study on the Effective Cooperative Class of Korean language and Theater to Improve Self-Expression in Lower Grades of Elementary School

이 연구의 목적은 초등 저학년의 자기표현력 향상을 위해 국어교과에서 학교교사와 연극강사의 효율적인 협력수업을 제안하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 자기표현력의 기본 개념과 구성요소를 파악하고, 연극의 관점에서 자기표현력을 살펴본 후 초등 저학년의 자기표현력 교육에 대해 알아보았다. 국어교육과정과 교과서를 분석하고, 연극교수학습법에 대한 설문조사를 연극강사 10명을 대상으로 진행한 결과 국어교과의 듣기·말하기 교육과 연극교육 모두 자기표현력과 밀접한 관계가 있음을 확인하였다. 따라서 자기표현력 향상을 위해 국어교과에서 연극교육이 어떻게 이루어지고 있는지 살펴보기 위해 초등학교 교사 6명을 대상으로 설문조사 및 심층면접을 진행하였다. 그 결과 국어교과에 연극교수학습법의 적용은 학생들의 자기표현력 향상에 효과적이지만 교육현장에서 교사가 단독으로 연극교수학습법을 적용하기 어려운 점을 확인하였다. 이러한 상황 인식 아래 효과적인 자기표현력 교육의 현실적으로 가능한 방법으로 학교 교사와 연극강사의 협력수업을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to propose efficient co-teaching for school teachers and theater instructors in the Korean language curriculum to improve self-expression among lower grade levels of elementary school. To this end, after identifying the basic concepts and components of self-expression and investigating self-expression from the perspective of theater, this study investigated self-expression education for the lower grades of elementary school. As a result of conducting a survey on theater teaching and learning methods on 10 theater instructors, it was identified that both Korean listening·speaking education and theater education are closely related to self-expression. Therefore, this study conducted a survey and in-depth interview on 6 elementary school teachers to investigate how theater education is conducted in Korean curriculum to improve self-expression. As a result, it was identified that applying the theater teaching and learning method to Korean language curriculum is effective in improving self-expression of students but it is difficult for teachers to apply the theater teaching and learning method alone in the educational field. Under the recognition of this situation, this study presented co-teaching by school teachers and theater instructors as a practically possible way of effective self-expression education.
