Social Justice in Nietzsche: Implications to Political Philosophy

니체의 정치철학의 핵심요소 중의 하나는 ‘사회정의’다. 그것은 서로 공속적인 ‘분배정의’와 ‘교환정의’, 그리고 그것의 전제인 ‘관계정의’라는 세 의미층을갖고 있는 복합개념이다. 이런 독특한 정의 개념은 ‘힘에의 의지의 관계주의’및 ‘인간유형론’이라는 사유의 틀과 ‘교육’이라는 사유의 목적 때문에 등장한다. 이 점을 유념하면 다음과 같은 점들도 규명된다. 첫째, 정의라는 문제영역은정치학이나 윤리학이나 법학을 넘어서 필연적으로 인간학의 문제영역으로, 궁극적으로는 인간교육의 문제로 귀착될 수 밖에 없다. 그래서 둘째, 정의로운개인의 양성과 육성은 사회정의의 현실적 구현을 위한 결정적 조건이다. 셋째,니체의 사회정치철학의 다른 내용들, 즉 국가론이나 법공동체론이나 ‘위대한정치’ 프로그램과 정의에 대한 니체의 논의는 정합적이다. 넷째, 니체의 ‘인간불평등론’의 실체는 형식적 평등에 대한 거부이자 동시에 비례적이고도 실질적평등에 대한 옹호다. 다섯째, 공동체 유지를 위해 필요한 연대감의 근원을 찾으려는 현대 정치철학의 노력에 ‘정의원칙에 대한 존중 및 정의를 추구하는 개인의 양성’이라는 답변을 제공한다.

One of the key elements in Nietzsche's political philosophy is 'social justice.'Social justice is a complex concept with three tiers of meaning, i.e., 'distributive justice' and 'justice in exchange' which are mutually binding; 'justice of relation'which is a requirement for them. This unique definition of justice emerges because of the thought frame of the 'relationalism of will to power' and 'human types,' and because of the thought purpose of 'education.' With this idea, we can clarify the following points. First, the issue of justice necessarily becomes the issue of philosophical anthropology beyond ethics and law, and ultimately goes back to the issue of education. Second, to raise individuals who pursue justice is therefore a crucial condition for realizing social justice. Third,Nietzsche's discourse on justice is consistent with other themes in his social and political philosophy, that is, state, legal community, and the program of 'Die große Politik.' Fourth, the real substance of Nietzsche's idea of the human inequality is both a rejection of formal equality and a support for proportional and substantive equality. Fifth, Nietzsche gives an answer to the philosophical effort to search for the origin of solidarity. That is raising individuals who pursue justice and has respect for the principles of justice.
