저항적 허무주의를 넘어서 있는 니체의 광인에 관한 고찰

Nietzsche’s Consideration of the Madman Beyond the Resistant Nihilism

니체의 허무주의는 근대 사회 이전 막강한 힘을 발휘했던 절대적 가치들을 몰락케 하는 논리요, 태도였다. 그렇다면 절대적 가치들이 몰락한 현대에 니체의허무주의는 무의미할 것인가? 이진우는 니체의 허무주의가 역사에 관한 철저한성찰이기 때문에 허무주의의 탈역사화는 니체에게서 보여졌던 비판적 성격을완전히 박탈하는 것이라고 한다. 그러나 나는 기존 가치체계가 붕괴되는 근대적상황이 질료가 되는 했어도 니체의 허무주의는 시대적 상황이 창출해낸 근대철학의 패러다임에 가둘 수 없는 중요한 시선을 제공하고 있다고 생각한다. 니체의 허무주의가 역사에 관한 철저한 성찰에서 시작했어도 그것은 궁극에서는 삶을 거스르는 것에 관한 진지한 성찰이기 때문이다. 나는 궁극에서 니체가 본 허무주의는 “우주 운행방식인 영원회귀에서 불변의 실체는 존재하지 않는다는, 항구적인 것은 없다는 통찰”이라는 정동호에 동의한다. 나는 궁극의 허무주의는 『금강경』에 나오는 “범소유상 개시허망(凡所有相 皆是虛妄)”의 정신처럼 탈역사화할 수 있는 것이라 생각하며, 능동적 허무주의의 탈역사화는 니체에게서 보여졌던 비판적 성격의 특징이 실존적인 것임을 드러낸다고 보는 것이다. 니체는 투르게네프를 좋아했으며, 러시아 허무주의의 영향을 받았다고 전한다. 그래서 본 논문에서는 우선 니체가 좋아한 투르게네프의 바자로프와 니체의광인이 어떤 점에서 닮았고 어떤 점에서 다른 지 살펴볼 것이다. 그리고 나서 우리나라 학자들의 허무주의를 검토하면서 니체가 부정적으로 쓰고 있는 철학적허무주의와 투르게네프의 저항적 허무주의, 그리고 궁극의 허무주의가 무엇인지 검토할 것이다. 그리고 나는 니체의 능동적 허무주의를 우주 허무주의라는개념으로 다시 쓰며 허무를 인간이 마주할 수밖에 없는 존재론적 상황으로 본정동호의 입장에 동의하며, 그것이 바로 『불설비유경』의 안수정등(岸樹井藤)의상황이라고 생각한다. 나는 니체의 광인이나 밧줄을 타는 인간이 자유를 본 능동적 허무주의자라고생각한다. 나는 니체가 궁극에 추구한 것은 허무주의라기보다 자유라고 생각하며, 허무의 상황은 인간이 자유인이 되기 위해 마주하게 되는 통과의례라고 생각한다.

Nietzsche’s Nihilism was the logic and attitude of the fall of absolute values,which were showing powerful strength before modern society. If today, where theabsolute values are ruined, is Nietzsche’s Nihilism meaningless?Lee Jin Woo says that Nietzsche’s Nihilism is a thorough introspection abouthistory. But even though the modern situation became substance where theexisting value system is crumbling, I believe Nietzsche’s Nihilism is providing animportant view which can not be locked on the paradigm of modern philosophy. Because, even though Nietzsche’s Nihilism was starting at the thoroughintrospection of history, it is a serious introspection about ultimately going againstlife. Nietzsche was paying attention to the value of brevity. I think Nietzsche’sNihilistic view came from a discernment which means nothing is eternal andunchangeable truth does not ultimately exist. Nietzsche was influenced by Turgenev, and it is told that he was influenced byRussian Nihilism. So, first in this thesis, we will examine in what ways Bazarov ofTurgenev, by whom Nietzsche was influenced, and the madman of Nietzsche arehow different and how similar. After that we will review philosophical Nihilism inwhich Nietzsche is writing negatively ,Turgenev’s resistant Nihilism, and whatNihilism is in finality while reviewing the Nihilism of Korean scholars. And I agreewith the stance of Jung Dong Ho, who wrote actively Nietzsche’s Nihilism into the concept of universe Nihilism and saw futility as an ontological situation withwhich humans are faced. I think what Nietzsche sought through madman was freedom, rather thanNihilism, and the situation of futility is the rite of passage humans have to face inorder to become free men.
