니체의 초인개념에 대한 하이데거의 해석

Heidegger’s interpretation of Nietzsche’s overman

『차라투스트라는 이렇게 말했다』에서 제시되는 니체의 전통해체의 작업은수많은 상징들과 비유 그리고 수수께끼와 같은 상황설정을 통해서 전개된다. 그러나 전통철학에 대한 니체의 단호한 태도에도 불구하고 그의 철학적 의도를 읽어내기는 쉽지 않은 것이 사실이다. 하이데거는 1930년대 이래 니체철학에 지속적인 관심을 가지면서 니체의 주장들을 형이상학적이고 존재론적인 관점에서논의하고 있다. 「신은 죽었다는 니체의 말」, 「차라투스트라는 누구인가」, 『니체I, II』에서 하이데거는 니체철학의 근본체계와 개념들에 대한 상세한 논의를 통해서 니체의 난해한 표현들이 지니는 철학적인 의미를 충실하게 해석하고 있다. 특히 하이데거는 니체의 초인개념에 대한 심도 있는 해석을 제시하는데, 이러한해석의 출발점은 초인과 영원회귀사상의 연관성에서 주어진다. 특히 『존재와시간』에서 전통철학을 현존재분석을 통해서 해체하려는 하이데거는 초인의 존재를 설파하면서 인간과 세계에 대한 전통적인 해석을 극복하려는 니체의 작업을 긍정적으로 평가한다. 인간을 “죽음에 이르는 존재”(Sein zum Tode)로 규정하면서 인간의 시간성(Zeitlichkeit)에 주목하는 하이데거는 영원회귀사상을 통해서 시간적인 것의 적극적인 의미를 회복시키려는 니체철학에 깊은 공감을 갖게 된다. 초감성적인 세계를 해체하고 대지의 의미를 회복시키는 초인의 존재를강조하는 니체철학은 하이데거의 현존재분석론과 일정한 연결고리를 형성하고있다고 할 수 있다. 이런 점에서 니체의 초인개념을 영원회귀사상과 관련시켜논의하는 것은 정당한 것이라고 볼 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 하이데거의 니체해석을 토대로 니체의 초인개념이 지닌 의미와 역할을 영원회귀사상과의 연관성속에서 고찰하도록 한다.

Nietzsche dismantles traditional philosophy through numerous symbols and parables in “The Zarathustra said”. It is true, however, that it is not easy to read his philosophical intent in spite of Nietzsche’s firm attitude to traditional philosophy. Heidegger has been interested in Nietzsche’s philosophy since the 1930s and has been discussing Nietzsche’s claims from a metaphysical and ontological point of view. Heidegger has a philosophical meaning of Nietzsche’s intricate expressions through detailed discussions on the fundamental systems and concepts of Nietzsche’s philosophy in “Nietzsche’s Words of God is death”, “Who is a Zarathustra” and “Nietzsche”(I, II). Particular, Heidegger presents an in-depth interpretation of Nietzsche’s concept of overman, the starting point of this interpretation being given in the connection between the overman and the eternal regression. In particular, Heidegger’s position to dismantle traditional philosophy in “Being and time” through analysis of Dasein positively assesses Nietzsche’s work to overcome the traditional interpretation of man and the world. Heidegger focuses on the Zeitlichkeit while defining human beings as “a being to death” (Sein zum Tode) and has a deep sympathy for the Nietzsche’s philosophy to restore the active meaning of temporal things through eternal regression. Nietzsche’s philosophy, which emphasizes the existence of the overhuman, which dismantles the super-emotional world and restores the meaning of the earth, is forming the connection with Heidegger’s analysis of the Dasein line. In this sense, it is fair to discuss Nietzsche’s concept of overman in relation to the idea of eternal regression. Based on Heidegger’s interpretation of Nietzsche, this paper examines the meaning and role of Nietzsche’s concept of superhuman in relation to the eternal regression.
