Nietzsche and Modern Chinese Literature

현대 중국의 계몽 문학가 노신 후기 창작 사상에 끼친 니체의 영향에 대해 분석하는 것이 본 논문의 목적이다. 전기와는 달리 후기에 들어 노신의 문학 사상은 니체의 수용(受容)과 인식에서 니체에 대한 원숙한 심도있는 이해와 당시 중국 정치 상황에 맞추어 변화되었다. 이 변화는 세 가지로 귀납되는데 중간물 개념의 제시, ‘준초인(準超人)’ 인물상의 형상, 그리고 사상 전달의 방법으로 니체의 독특한 호소력있는 문체를 들수 있다. 이론 배경에서는 니체의 이 세 가지 귀납에 대한 원의(原意)를 그의 원문을 통하여 분석한다. 니체는 ‘진화론’에 대해 제한적인 지지를 보내고 정신적인 진화를 주장한다. ‘초인(超人)’은 인간의 불가능한 점-선악, 진리와 위선, 미추(美醜) 등을 넘어선 절대자의 개념이다. 니체의 문체는 격언과 명령식의 수사(修 辭) 기법과 적은 담론을 모아 큰 전체의 대의(大意)에 이르는 방식 등을 구사한다. 노신은 니체의 정신 진화론의 영향으로 중간 단계인 ‘중간물’의 개념을 설정한다. 미완성적 인간형으로 ‘진적인(眞的人)’이 이르는 중간 단계이다. 노신은 니체의 문체에 있어서 초기에는 그대로 모방하여 따랐으나 후기에 이르러도 계속따라가기가 어렵다는 판단을 하게 된다. 단기간의 자극적이고 선동적인 문체는가(可)하나 후기에도 난삽하고 이해가 어려운 문체를 유지하기가 쉽지 않은 시기에 진입했다는 생각으로 니체와의 결별을 주장한다. 결론적으로 이 논문은 다음 세 가지를 지적한다. 첫째, 노신 후기의 문학 작품은 전기와 달리 니체의 사상을 비판적으로 수용하여 선별적이고 개념 전환적인방법을 사용한다. 둘째, 노신 후기의 문학 창작 방법은 니체를 한층 더 이해한 결과로 니체와의 결별은 표면적인 현상에 불과하다. 셋째, 노신의 전기에서 후기로 변화하는 과정 중의 니체에 대한 수용의 방법과 내용의 변화는 현대 중국 사상 이해에 귀감이 된다.

The theme purposes that Luxun, the one of greatest novelists in modern China, had been influenced by Nietzsche in the late literature periods, and illuminated the relationship between Luxun and Nietzsche. Therefore, three elements which was intermediate being, half overman and literature styles, had been induced and had been analyzed into three parts from Nietzsche: spirit evolution, overman and literature styles analysis by the background. The spirit evolution, first theme, had been the premised of Western culture and value. Second theme, overman concept had been suggested the transcendence of entire human values like good and evil. And third theme, literature styles had been considered the best way to illuminate the all readers. The intermediate, the content of Luxun`s first theme of influences from Nietzsche, described as the proceedings of the Nietzsche`s spirit evolution. The half overman, the content of second theme, had been produced as the concept named “half overman”, the human being between people and overman. The literature styles, the content of third theme, had illuminated the descriptions of enlightenment. These expressions had mainly modeled Nietzsche`s “Thus Spoke Zarathustra.” In the Conclusion, I suggested that first, Luxun had have influences the Nietzsche thoughts throughout entire his writing periods style whatever early or late periods, second, in the late period Luxun had comprehended the deeper contents of Nietzsche1s thoughts.
