Nietzsche's Critique of Christianity: Focused on Pain and Resentment

니체에게 있어 형이상학이 파괴의 대상이라면 그리스도교 역시도 그 대상이 될 수밖에 없다. 그 이유는 형이상학이 존재의 진리를 추구했다면 그리스도교는 그 진리의 의인화(Vermenschlichung), 즉 신을 추구했기 때문이다. 니체에 의하 면 신은 내적 힘에 대한 충만함의 표현이 아니라 인간의 자유로운 정신과 의지 를 나약하게 만드는 성직자들의 권력의 도구가 되었다. 힘에의 의지를 통해 모 든 생명체의 생명성, 다시 말해 모든 생명체의 자연성을 이해하는 니체에게 있 어 인간의 정신과 의지를 부정하는 그리스도교는 그 자체로 반자연적일 수밖에 없다. 그리고 이러한 그리스도교는 플라톤 이래 철학자들이 생성하는 구체적 현실 세계로서의 대지를 육체적 고통의 세계로 간주하고 이로부터 해방되기 위해 영 원히 질서 지워진 절대적 진리의 참된 세계를 고안해 낸 것이다. 그러나 니체에 따르면 그리스도교 진리의 세계는 고통이 만연한 이 세계의 따뜻한 위안의 품일 뿐, 근본적으로 세계의 진실함을 대변하지 못했다. 그동안의 진리는 고통을 은 폐시켜왔으나, 니체는 고통의 의미의 진실성을 드러내고 있다. 따라서 본 논문 은 은폐된 고통과 더불어 원한의 관점을 통해 니체가 나타내는 그리스도교의 진 리의 진실성을 이 논문에서 보여주고자 한다.

For Nietzsche, if metaphysics is the object of destruction, Christianity is bound to be the object. The reason is that while metaphysics sought the truth of existence, Christianity sought the personification of that truth (Vermenschlichung), that is, God. According to Nietzsche, God was not an expression of the fullness of inner power, but became an instrument of the clergy's power to weaken the free spirit and will of man. For Nietzsche, who understands the vitality of all living things through the will to power, that is, the nature of all living things, Christianity that denies the human mind and will is bound to be anti-natural in itself. And this Christianity regards the earth as a concrete real world created by philosophers since Plato as a world of physical suffering, and invents the true world of absolute truth, which is eternally ordered to be freed from it. However, according to Nietzsche, the world of Christian truth is only the warm comfort of this world where suffering is rampant, and cannot fundamentally represent the truth of the world. Until now, the truth has concealed pain, but Nietzsche is revealing the truth of the meaning of pain. Therefore, this thesis tries to show the truth of the Christian truth expressed by Nietzsche through the perspective of concealed pain and resentment.
