The first introduction or philosophical discussion of Nietzsche begann by Georg Brandes and Lou Andereas-Salomé. Brandes' social and cultural philosophical discussion and Salome's psychological insights have ever since had a profound effect on Western intellectual history. This paper mainly analyzes Salome's philosophical work and considers the philosophical meaning of it. Here, we will first look at the process of meeting Salomés with Nietzsche and the meaning of philosophical companionship. Then I'll look at Nietzsche's personality and mental traits that Salomé describes. Also, I will discuss the characteristics of Nietzsche's philosophy that Salome grasps, such as self-confessions of the soul, religious psychology, and religious aesthetics. Salome's work, which provides a psychological insight into Nietzsche's life and philosophy, leaves an important trace in the interpretation of Nietzsche's philosophy. In addition, we will discuss the meaning and limitations of Salome's work by highlighting the process of Nietzsche's rise to the stage of the history of western philosophy.
