본 연구는 2020년 COVID-19의 확산으로 인해 비대면 온라인 수업이 운영되던 학교 상황에서 현장 교사들이 학교 온라인 수업을 보다 체계적으로 설계할 수 있도록 도움을 주기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 우선 학교 온라인 수업에 대한 이해를 높이기 위해‘학교 온라인 교수학습 설계 개념 모형’을 구안하였다. 그리고 개발한 개념 모형을 토대로 21개의‘설계 원리’와 62개의‘세부 지침’, 그리고 설계 원리의 적용 단계를 안내하는‘설계 절차’를 개발하였다. 또한 설계 원리 및 지침, 설계 절차의 현장 적합성을 확인하기 위하여 사용성 평가를 실시하였다. 사용성 평가 결과 본 연구에서 개발한 결과물들은 학교 현장에서 적절하게 사용될 수 있을 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구 결과는 학교 온라인 교수학습 설계에 필요한 실질적인 지원 방안을 제공함과 동시에, 향후 미래 교육을 위한 학교 교육의 혁신에도 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
The purpose of this study is to provide middle school teachers with specific guidelines in order to design and develop online teaching and learning plans. Since they encountered unprecedented difficulties caused by COVID-19 in 2020, they strongly demanded detailed information on method of how to construct the online teaching and learning plans. This study investigated an ideal model for online teaching and learning in order to establish theoretical foundation of online teaching and learning in middle school. With this theoretical model, it furthered 21 principles, 62 guidelines, and specific procedures. In order to secure validity and usability of the developed model and principles, educational experts examined these products. The result of usability evaluation revealed that these products can be employed appropriately in middle school. The output of this research can provide teachers with detailed information and useful guidelines for design and development of online teaching and learning plans in middle school, and innovate educational systems in the future.
