코로나상황에서 과외체육활동 초등학생의 스마트폰의존성이 대인관계능력과 사회적유능감에 미치는 영향

The effect of smartphone dependence of elementary students in extracurricular physical activities on interpersonal skill and social competence in the COVID-19

본 연구는 코로나에서 과외체육활동에 참여하는 초등학생의 스마트폰 의존성이 대인관계능력과 사회적유능감에 미치는 영향을 규명하고자 하였다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 인천, 경기지역의 5-6학년 초등학생 359명을 연구대상으로 하였다. 자료수집에 사용된 측정도구는 구조화된 5점 리커트척도 설문지로 선행연구 검증된 것을 초등학생에 적합하도록 수정·보완하여 한 것이었다. 수집된 설문지는 IBM SPSS Statistics 27.0 프로그램을 이용하여 연구 목적과 연구문제에 맞게 분석하였다. 먼저 기술통계분석, 탐색적요인분석, 신뢰도를 측정하였다. 이후 연구문제에 맞게 상관분석과 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 이러한 절차를 통해 얻는 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구에서 설정한 초등학생의 스마트폰의존성, 대인관계능력, 사회적유능감 변인간의 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 스마트폰의존성과 대인관계능력 간에, 스마트폰의존성과 사회적유능감 간에는 통계적으로 부(-)적인 상관이 있고, 대인관계능력과 사회적유능감 간에는 통계적으로 정(+)적인 상관이 있다. 둘째, 초등학생의 스마트폰의존성은 대인관계능력에 통계적으로 유의하게 부적(-) 영향을 미친다. 셋째, 초등학생의 스마트폰의존성은 사회적유는감에 통계적으로 유의하게 부적(-) 영향을 미친다. 단 강박적의존은 주도성에 부(-)적 영향은 나타났지만 통계적으로는 유의하지 않았다. 넷째, 초등학생의 대인관계능력은 사회적유능감에 통계적으로 유의하게 정(+)적인 영향을 미친다. 단 의사소통능력은 협조성에 정(+)적인 영향은 나타났지만 통계적으로는 유의하지 않았다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of smartphone dependence of elementary school students participating in extracurricular activities in COVID-19 on interpersonal ability and social competence. To achieve this objective, 359 elementary school students in grades 5-6 from Incheon and Gyeonggi Province were the subject of this study. The measurement tool used for data collection was a structured 5 Likert scale questionnaire, verified in previous studies, and modified and supplemented to be suitable for elementary school students. The collected questionnaires were analyzed according to the research purpose and research problem using IBM SPSS Statistics 27.0. First, descriptive statistical analysis, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), and reliability (Cronbach's α) were measured. Afterwards, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were performed according to the research question. First, as a result of analyzing the correlation between the smartphone dependence, interpersonal ability, and social competence variables of elementary school students, there is a statistically negative correlation between smartphone dependence and interpersonal competence, and between smartphone dependence and social competence, There is a statistically positive (+) correlation between interpersonal ability and social competence. Second, elementary school students' smartphone dependence has a statistically significant negative (-) effect on interpersonal ability. Third, elementary school students' smartphone dependence has a statistically significant negative (-) effect on their sense of social connection. However, compulsive dependence had a negative (-) effect on initiative, but it was not statistically significant. Fourth, interpersonal ability of elementary school students has a statistically significant positive (+) effect on social competence. However communication ability had a positive (+) effect on cooperation, but it was not statistically significant.
