Currently, various augmented reality-based educational methods are being researched and marketed, and there is a method of using image markers. Most of the educational textbooks that use images as markers are books or cards, and in the advanced form, the number of contents is increased by assembling card-type markers. However, these methods have limited learners' learning opportunities due to a limited number of learning images and augmented reality content. In addition, there are insufficient parts in 'interaction to help active learning performance', which is a characteristic of the educational effect of augmented reality. ‘A Puzzle-Based Augmented Reality Language Learning Device that can implement Various AR Contents through Character Blocks with Embedded Character Information Chip’ is about a language education device that compensates for the shortcomings of educational textbooks using existing augmented reality and strengthens ‘Interaction to help active learning’ based on letter block combinations. In this study, we intend to finally implement the algorithm presented in previous studies by studying the combined word information recognition and the recognized information transmission method through character blocks equipped with NFC sensors. It attempted to solve the problem of previous studies by inserting NFC sensors into each character block, recognizing the combined word information, and presenting a method of implementing image and augmented reality content that fits the word meaning by transmitting it to a smart device. In addition, in order to increase the participation and interest of learners, a play-type learning method was added to the device.
