Scientific Interpretation of Buddhist View of Reality

The purpose of this article is to interpret scientifically the Buddhist view of reality in order to understand Buddhism with scientific concept and language. For this purpose, we first explain why the concept of Nothingness is important for the establishment of world peace. Nothingness is logically induced from the law of ‘dependent co-arising’ which is the most important concept of Buddhism. and We claim that the law of ‘dependent co-arising’ imply duality of things. Thus Nothingness is associated with tendency of escape from state of emptiness. This means Nothingness imply the duality of emptiness and ‘tendency of escape from state of emptiness’. We compare the duality of Nothingness with the wave-particle duality and the important concepts of quantum theory which is foundation of modern physics. We also discuss the possibility that the Buddhist view of reality can be supported from EPR paradox and Bell's theorem which is the important concept of quantum theory.
