Korean Multicultural Policy and Religion

본 연구는 한국의 다문화정책이 외국인정책 기본계획에 기반을 두고 있다고 전제한 후, 한국 다문화정책이 어떻게 전개되어 왔으며, 그 정책들 속에서 종교의 변수가 어떻게 고려되어야 하는지 살펴본다. 그리고 종교학 분과의 다문화담론 속에서 종교가 어떻게 연구되어 왔는지를 살펴보고, 다문화사회에서 종교가 어떤 쟁점으로 드러날 수 있는지 살펴본다. 이를 통해서 한국 다문화정책에서 종교가 정책적 고려의 대상이 되어야 함을 제언하고자 한다.

This study examines how Korean multicultural policies have been developed and how the variables of religion should be considered in the policies after assuming that Korea 's multicultural policy is based on the basic plan for immigration policy. In addition, we will examine how religion has been studied in the multicultural discourse of religious studies, and examine what issues religion can reveal in multicultural society. This suggests that religion should be the subject of policy consideration in Korean multicultural policy.
