유대인의 가정교육

Jewish Home Education

유대인들은 가정은 교육을 전수할 가장 기본 단위이자 가장 좋은 교육의 장소이고 이 가정에서야 말로 부모와 형제를 통한 올바른 교육이 이루어져야 한다고 여긴다. 한국의 교육도 가정을 중심으로 자녀의 교육이 잘 이루어질 때에 다른 교육 기관에서 가정을 도와 교육이 조화롭게 진행되어질 수 있다. 물질적, 정신적으로 혼란스러운 사회에서 교육 기관에서 추구하는 교육의 목적, 방법, 내용 등이 다양하다고 할지라도 유대인 가정처럼 부모가 그 중심을 잡아 자녀들을 전인격적으로 교육한다면 자녀들의 모습은 세상에서 흔들리지 않을 것이다. 한국의 부모도 먼저 올바른 가정의 가치관을 가지고 자녀들을 교육하기를 힘써야 하며 가정에서부터 부모의 본을 받아 자녀들이 성장할 때에 급변하는 세상을 밝게 변화시킬 수 있을 것이다.

Jews believe that families are the basic unit and the best place for education to pass on, and that only this family should have the right education through parents and broth ers. Education in Korea can also be conducted harmoniously by helping families in other educational institutions when their children’s education is well conducted around their families. Even if the purpose, methods and contents of education pursued by educational insti tutions in a material and mentally chaotic society are diverse, the children’s image will not be shaken in the world if parents take the center of education and educate their chil dren wholeheartedly, just like Jewish families. Korean parents should also try to educate their children with the right family values first, and will be able to change the rapidly changing world as their children grow up, following the example of their parents from home.
