《조선왕조실록》에는 《주역》을 언급한 기록이 많이 등장한다. 《조선왕조실록》 을 통해 《주역》이 실제로 어떻게 활용되고 있는지 파악할 수 있다. 《조선왕조실록》은 경연석상에서의 기록이 많은 비중을 차지한다. 《주역》에 대한 언급도 경연석상에서 많이 이루어지고 있다. 《세조실록》은 조선 제7대 국왕 세조의 재위기간(1455년~ 1468년) 14년간의 역사를 기록하였다. 《세조실록》은 다른 왕의실록에 비하여 주역과 관련된 내용이 많이 등장한다. 이는 세조가 다른 임금보다 주역에 밝고 관심이 많았음을 증명한다. 본고는 《세조실록》에 나타난 주역 관련 기록 양상을 고찰하였다. 연구방법은한국고전종합db 《세조실록》에서 연관 검색어로 《주역》과 관련된 자료를 모두 찾아낸 다음 그 의미를 분석하였다. 본론에서는 1) 경연에서의 주역 언급, 2) 학술활동과 주역 관련 도서의 간행, 3) 당대 및 세조의 주역에 대한 인식, 4) 세조의 음양·풍수·지리에 대한 인식, 5) 세조의 세자 교육 항목으로 나누어 분석하였다.
In the joseon-wangjosillok, there are many records that mention in The Book of Changes. Through the joseon-wangjosillok, one can understand how The Book of Changes was actually being used. In the joseon-wangjosillok, there exist a large number of records from gyeong-yeon. Numerous mentions of The Book of Changes at the competition table also exist. Sejosillok records the 14-year history of the reign of King Sejo, the 7th king of the Joseon Dynasty (1455~1468). Compared to the Annals of other kings, sejosillok contains a substantial amount of content related to the main characters. This proves that King Sejo was brighter and more interested in The Book of Changes than other kings. Sejo had outstanding academic abilities. This paper examines the characteristics of records related to The Book of Changes appearing in the sejosillok. The research method was to locate all the data associated with The Book of Changes with a related search term in Sejosillok, a comprehensive Korean classical database, and then analyze their meaning. This study investigates 1) mention of The Book of Changes in the gyeongyeon, 2) publication of books related to academic activities and The Book of Changes, 3) recognition of the leading contemporary characters and King Sejo, 4) recognition of yin-yang, feng shui, and geography of King Sejo, 5) King Sejo’s education of princes.
